Tinig (UB Videoke King and Queen 2018)

Mechanics:
1.) The contest is open to all UBians.
2.) There will be two (2) divisions: Men and Women division.
3.) Before the contest starts, the contestants will be asked to draw for their singing
order.
4.) During each participants turn, he/she will be asked to sing a song randomly selected
and chosen for the contest. The contest will feature songs from the 80s, 90s and the
current era.
5.) Once the song is played, the contestant should be able to sing it. The contestant will
be booted out of the contest by the judges if:
(a) He/She fails to sing the song in the manner it should be sung,
(b) He/She is out of tune or timing.
(c) He/She cannot really sung the song.
(d) The judges finds his/her version totally different.
6.) There will be three (3) judges who will score based on the following criteria:
(a)Vocal Quality, (40) points
(b)Stage Presence, (20) points
(c) Interpretation, (20) points.
7.) The machine generated score is considered the last criteria for judging with ten (20)
points and will be added to the score of the judges. A total of 100 points.
8.) The Male and Female singer with the top score will be declared as the Videoke King
and Queen 2018.
9.) The deadline of registration is August 20, 2018.
10.) Everyone is encouraged to join the contest. A generous prize awaits. Good Luck!
