Qasida Muhammadiyyah
Fis Salati ‘ala Khayril Bariyyah
Imam al-Busayri Rahimahullah

‫بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم‬

َ ْ ْ َ‫ُ َ ٌ َ ْ ُ ْ أ‬
َ
‫اب والعج ِم‬ َ َ ‫م َّمد أ ش‬
Muhammad is the most noble
ِ ‫�ف العر‬
َ ْ ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َخ ْي ُ� َم ْن َي ْ� ِش‬
‫� َع ٰل ق َد ِم‬
of the Arabs and the non-Arabs,
Muhammad is the best of those
who walk two feet. ‫ﷺ‬

Muhammad is a spreader of good

‫امل ْع ُر ْو ِف َج ِام ُع ُه‬ َ ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َ ب� ِس ُط‬
and its gatherer, Muhammad is
َْ ْ ُ
a possessor of beneficence and
generosity. ‫ﷺ‬
‫َم َّم ٌد َص ِاح ُب ِإال ْح َس ِان َوالك َر ِم‬
ً َ ُ
Muhammad is the crown of the
‫َم َّم ٌد تَ� ُج ُر ْس ِل هللاِ ق ِاط َبة‬
َ َ َ ْ َ‫ُ َ َّ ٌ َ ُ أ‬
Messengers of Allah, without
exception, Muhammad is the most
truthful in words and speech. ‫ﷺ‬
‫الك‬
ِ ِ ‫ممد ص ِادق القو ِال و‬
ُ َ ْ ُ
‫َم َّم ٌد ث� ِب ُت ال ِـم ْيث ِاق َح ِافظ ُه‬
Muhammad is an upholder and
protector of covenants, Muhammad
is of pleasant character and َ�‫الش ي‬ ّ َ َ ْ َ‫ُ َ َّ ٌ َ ّ ُ ْ أ‬
disposition. ‫ﷺ‬ ِ ِ ‫ممد ط ِيب الخل ِق و‬
َ ُ
‫َم َّم ٌد ُر ِو َي ْت ِب� ُّلن ْو ِر ِط ْين ُت ُه‬
Muhammad’s natural substance
was quenched with divine Nur,
ْ ً ُ ْ َ ُ
‫َم َّم ٌد ْل َ ي زَ�ل ن ْورا ِم َن ال ِق َد ِم‬
Muhammad’s light has not
disappeared since the beginning of
time. ‫ﷺ‬

Muhammad is a an upright judge,

‫� ٍف‬َ َ‫اك ِب� َلع ْد ِل ُذ ْو ش‬
ٌ ِ ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َح‬
possessing honour, Muhammad
َ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ٌ َّ َ ُ
is the source of benefaction and
wisdom. ‫ﷺ‬
‫ال ِك‬
ِ ‫ممد مع ِدن ِإالنع ِام و‬

Muhammad is the best of the creation
of Allah, from the lineage of Mudar,
Muhammad is the best of all the
Messengers of Allah. ‫ﷺ‬
Muhammad’s creed is a truth that we
profess and adhere to, Muhammad is
moderate and decent, befitting of a
noble. ‫ﷺ‬
Muhammad, his mention is a
refreshment for our souls, Muhammad,
thanking him is an obligation upon the
communities. ‫ﷺ‬
Muhammad is the beauty and
adornment of this world, Muhammad
is a remover of afflictions and darkness
Muhammad is a master, and his virtues
are pleasant, Muhammad is the one
who the Most Merciful created full of
benefits. ‫ﷺ‬
Muhammad is the Creator’s best and
elite, Muhammad is unblemished from
all evil suspicions. ‫ﷺ‬
Muhammad is cheerful and hospitable
to his guest, Muhammad never
brought evil to his neighbour, by Allah
I swear. ‫ﷺ‬

‫َم َّم ٌد ِد ْي ُن ُه َح ٌّق ن ِد ْي نُ� ِب ِه‬
َ ًّ ً ُ ُ
‫َم َّم ٌد ج ْم ِمال َحقا َع ٰل َع ِل‬
َ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد ِذ ْك ُر ُه َر ْو ٌح ِ أَل ْن ُفسنا‬

َُ ‫ُ َ ٌ ُ ْ ُ َ ٌ َ َ ْ أ‬
‫م َّمد شك ُره ف ْرض عل ال ِم‬
ْ ُّ ُ َ ٌ َّ َ ُ
‫الدن َيا َو بَ ْ� َج تُ َ�ا‬ ‫ممد ِز ينة‬
َ ُّ ُ ُ َ ٌ ُ
‫ات َوالظ ِل‬ ِ ‫َم َّمد ك ِشف الغ َّم‬
َ ُ
‫َم َّم ٌد َس ِّي ٌد ط َاب ْت َم َن ِاق ُب ُه‬
ُ َ ْ َّ ُ َ َ ٌ َّ َ ُ
‫حان ِب� ِّلن َع ِم‬ ‫ممد صاغه الر‬
ُ
‫الب ِار ْي َو ِخ ْي َ�ت ُه‬ َ ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َص ْف َو ُة‬
َ ُّ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َط ِاه ٌر ِم ْن َس ئ ِا� ت‬
‫ال� ِم‬
ِ
ْ َّ ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َض ِاح ٌك ل‬
‫لض ْي ِف ُمك ِر ُم ُه‬ ِ
� َ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َج ُار ُه َوهللاِ َ ْل ُي ض‬
ِ
 َ ْ ُّ َ ُ
Muhammad’s emergence caused ‫الدن َيا ِب َب ْعث ِت ِه‬ ‫َم َّم ٌد ط َاب ِت‬
َ ْ ‫آ‬ ُ
‫َم َّم ٌد َج َآء ِب�ل َ ي� ِت َوال ِـح ِك‬
the world to become delightful,
Muhammad came with Qur’anic
verses and multiple wisdoms. ‫ﷺ‬
َ َّ ْ ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َي ْو َم َب‬
Muhammad is our intercessor on the
day when humankind is resurrected,
‫اس ش ِاف ُع َنا‬ ِ ‫الن‬ ‫ث‬ ِ ‫ع‬
َ ُّ َ ْ َ ُ ُ ْ ُ ٌ َّ َ ُ
Muhammad’s Nur is a guide out of
darkness. ‫ﷺ‬
‫ممد نوره اهل ِادى ِمن الظ ِل‬
ُ َّ ٌ ‫ُ َ َّ ٌ َ ئ‬
‫ل ذ ْو ِ َه ِم‬
Muhammad is dedicated to Allah,
endowed with ambitions, Muhammad ِ ِ �‫ممد ق ِا‬
ُّ ٌ َ‫ُ َم َّم ٌد َخ ت‬
is the seal of every single last one of
the messengers. ‫ﷺ‬
‫ا� ِل ُّلر ْس ِل ِك ِه ِم‬

‫ائ ًما أَب ًدا‬ِ ‫م ْو َلى ص ّ ِل وس ِّل ْم د‬

ْ ْ ْ ْ ‫عىل حب‬
‫ه‬ِِ ‫خل ِق كُ ِّل‬ ‫ال‬

Our Lord, bless and send peace, eternally and forever,
Upon Your beloved, the best of all creation.
