1.INT/EXT.PAPANNA’S HOUSE-DAY

An old lady around 60 years; she wakes up from the bed. There is
a small girl sleeping next to her. The old women wakes up, she
is searching someone in the house. She saw the backside of the
house; she doesn't see anyone. She comes in to the house

TUNGAMMA
Kaveri..Kaveri.. Ellodlu Ivlu
[Where does she gone]

She comes to the entrance room which is an old Post office

setup. She saw the empty chair behind the Post office table. She
got tensed and run out of the house

TUNGAMMA
Ayyo.. Papannaa.. Papanna..

She goes near the neighbor compound and calls

TUNGAMMA
Ratnammaa..Ratnamma..

An old lady comes out; she is same age of Tungamma.

TUNGAMMA
Nan maglu-aliyannenadru nodudya?
[Have you seen my daughter and the Son in law]

RATNAMMA
Illala marayti, mane hinde munde ella nodidya?
[No dear, did you check the surrounding of the house?]

Tungamma nods with sadness

RATNAMMA’S HUSBAND
Enta ante, Ibru ododranta?
[What’s the matter, both of them ran away?]

1. A.INT/EXT.PAPANNA’S HOUSE-DAY

Tungamma is sitting and crying. Ratnamma is sitting next to her

and consoling her. Ratnamma’s husband goes towards the gate and
searching around by standing inside the gate itself.

alitiddonige kelsanu kodsi nammanele jaganu
kotte. Kelsa sikkid mele ivne nanna maglunne
harskondu hogene.. Eega nangeyaaru adere hele
Ratna..(Cries more).
[I didn’t want to get marry my daughter; but
Everyone convinced me saying what if she
ran away with someone. So anyhow Papanna is
my own brother’s son. I know him from his
Childhood. This poor boy doesn’t even have
his parents; But still I gave my daughter to
him and get marry. I helped him to get a job and
gave my place to stay also. But once he got
job he taken away my daughter and ran away..
who else is there with me Ratna..(Cries more)]

Ratnamma's husband checks both sides of the road by standing

inside the gate and comes back

RATNAMMA

Tungamma listened him and worried.

Ratnamma actions him with her eyes like don't say anything. He
leaves from there.

RATNAMMA'S HUSBAND
Entaaru madkali..nangyake(murmering)
[You think whatever you want(murmering)]

TUNGAMMA(CRYING)
Avnu haalagi hogidru tondre irla. Nanna
magalanna entake karkondu hogbekittu..
[I wouldn’t care If he gone anywhere.
Why should he take away my daughter]

By the time Papanna comes with his cycle. Tungamma saw him and
relieved.

RATNAMMA
Ninna aliya banda nodu.. ninnna magalu
ille ello irbeku hudku
[See; your son in law came. Your daughter
Must be somewhere around..find her]

Tungamma relieved

TUNGAMMA
Nanu andkande Papanna hangella madonalla anta.
Sari..nee hogu, Avribrige enta helbeda matte
[Even I knew; my son in law never do this.
Right; you go. Don’t tell this to them]

Ratnamma leaves. Papanna is keeping his cycle. By the time

Tungamma is rubbing her tears. Papanna comes inside and keeping
his bag on the table. Tungamma trying to be casual and says

TUNGAMMA
Papanna, ondu kodpana neeru tagondu baa
[Papanna, Go and bringa water]

PAPANNA
Haa atte.. Kaveri enta madtadale?
[Ok Mother in law, What Kaveri is doing?]

Alli ento kelsa madtadale..eega nee hogi
tagondu ba. Ondu kelsa madakke hattu prashne
keltane
[She is doing some work there..Now you go
and bring the water. If I ask a work; he will
ask 1000 questions]

Pappanna goes inside. Kaveri curiously goes to backside of the

house to search Kaveri.

2. EXT.PAPANNA’S NEIGHBOR HOUSE-DAY

A neighbor young couple is hiding in their backyard. The man is

trying to kiss her, but she is getting shy and avoiding him.
Tungamma saw the couple and make her face weird. She saw Kaveri
who is enjoying looking at them. Tungamma angrily calls her
slowly

TUNGAMMA
Ey.. Kaveri; nee entha nodtha nintidye.
[Hey..Kaveri, what are looking at?]

Kaveri feels shy and throw the dirt from the container and comes
back with Tungamma.

TUNGAMMA
Oorigella kaanange nintu asayya madta nintere..
[They are doing their shameless things
In front of the whole Village]

TUNGAMMA
Nee entake aa asayya nodta nintiddi..
ninna idi maneyella hudkde
[Why are you looking at this shameless people..
I was searching for you everywhere]

Kaveri felt ashamed

KAVERI
nanu alli kasa bisadakke hogidne.
nanenu bekanta nodiddalla
[I just went throw the dirt.
I didn’t see them purposely]

Papanna looks at Kaveri like where she went. She doesn't respond
anything. Papanna got curious and going to see. By the time
Tungamma calls him for the water.

Papannaa.. bega neeru tagondu baaro..
[Papanna..quickly bring the water..]

Papanna goes inside the house.

3. EXT.PAPANNA’S HOUSE-DAY

Papanna is standing in the entrance door next to the Post box.

He looks bored. A hand comes and puts a post.

CUSTOMER
Post mastre nange ondu inland letter kodi
[Post Master please give me an Inland letter]

Papanna leaves from there (Film title appears) and he gives Post
through the window.

CUSTOMER
Mastre ayta tindi?
[Master; had breakfast]

Papanna artificially smiles and nods

PAPANNA
Aytu aytu..
[had..had..]

Papanna's daughter Putti is getting ready to school and Kaveri

PUTTI
Tata Appa

PAPANNA
Tata..Tata Putti

Kaveri also says bye. Kaveri comes to near Papanna with her
younger kid. She looks at Papanna; Papanna is keep checking the
Posts. Papanna takes out the posts from the bag. Kaveri keep
showing randomly the Posts stamp, Papers to her younger kid. She
takes some post. Papanna got irritates. Kaveri got angry and
went inside. He continues checking all the Posts. He saw a Post
and just looks around and opens a post and curiously read it.
Then he closes it. He just confirms again around. Then he saw
another Post written in the name of Kareem, K.M. Estate,
Kaalooru. Papanna is looking at it curiously and kept in his
pocket. By the time Kaveri comes

KAVERI
Tindige banri
[Come for breakfast know]

Papanna is deeply thinking something and lost in his thoughts.

4. INT.KITCHEN - DAY

Papanna is having breakfast. Kaveri is serving him. Papanna is

lost in his thoughts. Kaveri is looking him doubtfully what is
he thinking. She served extra food. Papanna suddenly got angry

PAPANNA
Saku saku..estu haktiya
[Enough Enough.. How much do you serve]

Kaveri felt angry and went inside. Papanna eats whatever she
served.
PAPANNA
Innondu kadbu.
[One more Idli]

Kaveri is listening and standing without responding. Then he

asks her softly
PAPANNA
Innondu kadbu haktiya?
[Could you please bring one more idli?]

Kaveri comes and serves.

5.EXT.COFFEE ESTATE-DAY

Papanna goes inside a big coffee estate with his cycle. He is

slowly looking around the estate and moving. Few people are
working in the estate. A young boy who comes in the Fiat car;
who looks very stylish and modern and he is in the joy mood.
Papanna is looking at him very curiously and walking. Car
moves. A worker guy saw Papanna and calls

WORKER
Post master enu ee kade
[Post master; what’s the matter?]

Papanna suddenly scared.

PAPANNA
Estate owner sahibranna nodbekittu.

[Ayyo..If you would have little early

PAPANNA
Kareem ah? ivru city yalli
odlikke hogidralva?
[Is he Kareem? He is the one who
Is studying in the city?]

WORKER
Haudu, eega college rajege manege bandiddare.

[Yes. He came for the college vacation.
What’s the matter, is there any post for
the owner sahib?]

PAPANNA
Oh..? coffee board inda ondu Post bandittu.
Sari bartini, neenu kelsa madu
Oh.. Yes. Few posts from the coffee board.
All right. I will see you, you can do your work.

6.EXT.COFFEE ESTATE-DAY

Papanna is walking in the estate. He confirms no one is there

around. He goes inside the coffee plantation bush and hides
behind the big tree. He takes out the letter from his pocket. He
is nervous and checked around once again. He again thinks
holding the post. His hands are shaking while opening the
letter. He takes out the letter with curious. He got
disappointed; when he saw the letter; which is written in Urdu
and he got angry on himself. He folds the letter, backside of
the letter he saw a beautiful nude photo of a lady above the
wrist. He is looking the photo and stun. He is lost for few
minutes when he saw the beautiful nude women in the big estate.
He is feeling shy and nervous; he comes out of the coffee
plantation walking in the road. He is consciously walking
towards the people who are working. Everyone is surprisingly

staring at his blushing face. He realize that and he tries to

control his emotions and scolds them

PAPANNA
Entha nodtha iddira..kelsa madadu bittu
[Why are you people looking at me..
Do your work]

6. A.EXT.COFFEE ESTATE ROAD-DAY

Papanna is riding his cycle with freshness and happy. He goes

out of the estate gate and riding the highway roads in between
the beautiful estate mountains.

7. EXT.BANK OF THE RIVER - EVENING (About to sun set)

Papanna is sitting in the isolate river bank and seeing the nude
photo. He is enjoying his fantasy state.

8. INT.POST OFFICE- DAY

Papanna is obsessively looking at the same photo in his Post

office. Kaveri comes with little aggressive and call him.
Papanna suddenly scared and hide the photo. Kaveri looks at him
surprisingly and get irritated

KAVERI
Nimge eshtu sari tindige karibeku.
Avaginda koogtane idini, haa illa
hnoo illa. Bardidre bidi
[How many times should I call you.
I am calling you from long time. No response.
If you don’t want don’t come then]

Kaveri leaves. Papanna slightly get disturbed from her

interruption. Then he goes inside. Papanna looks at the Photo
again.

9. INT.KITCHEN-DAY

Papanna is having breakfast. Kaveri is serving. Papanna is lost

in his thoughts. Kaveri serving extra, Papanna is going to stop
her and look up. He saw her and surprised. He started looking
her lustfully. She serves and leaves. Papanna is looking at her
intensely when she is walking. Papanna is unbelievable and
completely conquered by Kaveri.

10. INT.BED ROOM-NIGHT

Kaveri is sleeping with her younger kid. Light is on. Papanna is

intensely looking at her with lust and curiosity. Also he is
nervous. Kaveri got disturbed

KAVERI
Light off maadri; Paapuge nidde baralla.
[Switch off the light.. Baby can’t sleep]

PAPANNA
Papu malgidyalla
[Babu is already sleeping]

Tungamma who is sleeping in the living room which is next to the

Papanna's room. Papanna's elder daughter is sleeping with her

TUNGAMMA
Papanna, light off maadu..illi
nan kannige light hodita untu..
idondu haaladdu niddenu barilla
[Papanna.. Switch off the light.
It is hitting directly to my eyes]

Papanna is switching off the light and sleeps. He is seeing only

dark, nothing else.

DISSOLVE TO BLACK

10. A.INT.OUTSIDE BATHROOM-DAY

Papanna is searching someone in the house, he heard the sound in

the bathroom someone is taking bath. Tungamma is preparing
beetle nuts in the main room. Papanna slowly goes near the
bathroom door. There are small gaps between the old bathroom
doors. He is trying seeing Kaveri through the gaps. By the time
sound stops, he is curiously trying to see with the involvement.

Kaveri comes out with the clothes; Papanna got nervous and acts
like he is waiting

PAPANNA

11. INT.POST OFFICE-DAY

Papanna is working in the Post office, Kaveri comes and sweeping

the floor. Papanna is seeing her in the cross eye. He couldn't
see her properly. He gets up and comes near the door. He is
conscious to look at her. So he comes out of the door and acting
like taking something in the Post box and looking her through
the window next to Post box. He found Kaveri beautiful when she
is sweeping the floor. Papanna looking her intensely with
desires (slow motion).

When Kaveri is going back, Papanna goes behind her slowly and
hold her. She got scared, Papanna kissed her cheek. Their
daughter saw and started laughing. Kaveri felt shy and act like
angry on him.

KAVERI
Entha idu nimdu cheste
[What is this nonsesnse?]

Kaveri without willing she removed from him with shy and goes.

12. INT.POST OFFICE/POOJA ROOM - LATE EVENING

No power in the house. Papanna is working in the lamp light.

Kaveri lighten the Pooja room next to the Post office room.
Kaveri started doing Pooja with bell and Agarbatti. Papanna
heard the sound and goes inside like going to get something. He
saw Kaveri from behind; only few lights pass on her body and he
found it like a golden statue of an angel. He slowly goes behind
her and held her. Kaveri was involved in the Pooja got scared
suddenly and she left the bell from her hand. The bell sound
echoes in the house.

Tungamma is sitting and getting warm in front of the kitchen

fire. Suddenly she heard the echo of the bell sound.

12. B.INT.POST OFFICE/POOJA ROOM - LATE EVENING

Kaveri is afraid and trying to release from him. But Papanna is

completely in her zone and doesn't leave. Kaveri surrendered and
enjoys it. Lightened god looks peaceful looking at them.

Tungamma saw their romance from the door and got shocked.

13. INT.KITCHEN - NIGHT

There is a fire in the kitchen. Tungamma is looking at the fire.

She is angry. She is lost in her thoughts.

13. A.INT.POOJA ROOM/POST OFFICE-DAY

Tungamma is angry and cleaning the God photos. Kaveri is

sweeping in the Post office room. Papanna is sitting in his
chair and looking and giving seducing smile at Kaveri.

14. INT.EXT.BACKYARD/KITCHEN - DAY

Kaveri is bringing water from the well. Papanna pulled her,

Kaveri about fall with the container. Papanna held her.

KAVERI
Ayyo beelta idde eega
[Ayyo..I was about to fall down]

PAPANNA
Naanu bidbekalla ninna beelakke
[I never let you fall down]

KAVERI
Adenu itticheke baari love bandide nanmele?
[Why are you so caring nowadays?]

PAPANNA
Preeti yavaglu ittu. Aadre ishtu dina neenu
maklu mari anta busy ade. Naanu Post office
dutyly busy aade. Ratri malgdagantu katlalli
ninna yavattu node illa..
[My love was there before; but you were
Busy with the kids. Even I was busy in

Kaveri felt shy and laughs. Papanna tickles her. Kaveri started
laughing. By the time Tungamma saw them; both of them are
closely talking and laughing. Tungamma got disturbed and angry.
She calls Kaveri

TUNGAMMA
Kaveri bega neeru tagondu baa..
[Kaveri..bring the water quickly]

But Kaveri and Papanna both get involved in the love. Tungamma
got angry. She calls Papanna

TUNGAMMA
Papanna..

But Papanna didn't respond to Tungamma. Kaveri remind him; but

Papanna nods his head and loving Kaveri by holding her cheek.
Tungamma saw them both; they are still standing there. Tungamma
goes inside, Kid started crying. Kaveri trying to leave

KAVERI
Ayyo..magu alta untu, bidi
[Ayyo..baby is crying, leave me]

Papanna pulled her again without letting her go

Papanna
Neenu hodre ee magu kathe enu
[If you go, what about this baby]

Tungamma comes and saw them and get angry.

14. A.INT.KITCHEN - DAY

Tungamma is feeling sad and worried.

15. EXT.RIVER BANK-DAY

Kaveri is washing clothes in the bank of the river. She is

smiling herself and happily lost somewhere. Tungamma who is also
washing clothes next to her; but she is angry and keeps looking
at smiling Kaveri. Tungamma break the silence, but she is
hesitate to talk

Kaveri..Ka..

Tungamma while washing calls Kavery softly. But Kaveri didn’t

listen her when she was in her own thoughts. Tungamma cries

TUNGAMMA
Vayyassadora maatu elli kelskotira
[How can you listen this old women; now?]

KAVERI
Entha aayte marayti ninge?
[What happened?]

TUNGAMMA
Nangenta agilla maraayti..nange
ninna baggene chinte
[Nothing happened to me.. I am
worried about you only]

KAVERI
Nan bagge entha chinthe?
[What is there to worry about me?]

TUNGAMMA
Naanu avattinda nodtane idini..
helana helana anta
[I wanted to tell you from few days]

Kaveri is waiting and looking at her. Tungamma continue washing

clothes by hesitating to face her. Kaveri continues to wash
clothes.

TUNGAMMA
Swalpa dinadinda ninna ganda onthara adtidane
[From few days your husband is behaving weirdly
I have seen everything you both were doing]

Kaveri get concious and stops washing.

TUNGAMMA(CONTINUES)
Nodta idinamma..nivibru
ittichege enu madtiddiri anta.
[I have seen everything you both were doing]

Kaveri felt shy. But Kaveri wanted to defend herself.

Nan entha tappu maddhe marayti?
[What did I do wrong?]

Kaveri was not confident while she was talking. Tungamma while
washing clothes she looks at Kaveri and stops.

TUNGAMMA
Nodu Kaveri; neenu jeevna dalli kasta
sukha nodidholu. Nanu ninge helbekagilla.
Nimmappa neenu hutti 3 varshadalle
nammnnella bittu ododru(cries). Neene
nodidhya Nanu obbale hege kasta pattu
ninnana saaki doddolanna madidini anta.
Kelavaru nannanna madve agtini anta bandaga
ninna bavishya elli halagutte anta nanu
yara hangigu beeldhe nanu oble kelsa maadi
manena ulsi belsiddini. Ninna madvenu madiddini.
[Listen Kaveri, you have seen the ups
and downs in the family from the childhood.
I don’t need to tell you all this’
When your father ran away; you are
3 year old;(Cries). I was a lonely women
who worked hard to handle this house and
grew you up with all the fulfillments. When few
people came forward to marry me; But I was
concern about your future; so I didn’t want to
be under someone. I worked alone. Even I did
your marriage.]

Tungamma continue crying. Kaveri felt sad and pity about her
mother. She also cries.

TUNGAMMA(CONTINUES)
Neenu ashte amma, ee chellata ella bittu
ninna makkala bavishya roopisbeku.
[Even you should leave all this non sense
Play and you should create good future
To your kids]

Kaveri felt ashamed of herself. She feels helpless. She is

controlling her cry but it comes out more

KAVERI
Amma, nannanna neene saaki doddolu
madidholu, neene nanna mdve madidolu.
Neene ondu maatu avrige heli bidamma..

I feel shy to tell this]

makkalu, doddoru, devru anta noddhe
ella kade haage asabyavagi vartisbardamma..
adu ee vayyassalli? jana enantare.
Haagella ninna gandanige saluge kodbeda.
[You should understand Kaveri. When your
physical desire come, one should not
behave however they feels without even
consider the presence of yielders, kids
or even the God.. If you do all this in
this age what people would say. Never
let him take you as granted]

Kaveri remembers Papanna and get angry

Kaveri scolding him and continue washing clothes

KAVERI
Monne ondu kari kannadka bere

He has ego of being only Post master
in the village. Also he wanted buy a
sunglass to his joker face.

Kaveri is washing clothes angrily. Tungamma looks little

relieved. River is flowing with force.

16. INT.PAPANNA’S BED ROOM - NIGHT

Papanna switch off the light in his room. He light on the lamp.
His kid is sleeping next to Kaveri. Papanna kept his kid away
from her. Light is falling on Kaveri. Papanna found her
beautiful. He started imagining the hidden beauty which might
have in Kaveri. Papanna goes and sleep next to her. Papanna
slowly kept his hand on her. He slowly held her saree. Kaveri
opened her eyes. She is emotionless. Papanna is going to pull

her saree. Kaveri woke up and look at her. Papanna got shocked.
He is going to hold her again. Kaveri got angry

KAVERI
En madta idira.
[What are you doing.]

Papanna is speachless.. He is nervous. Kaveri saw her kid which

is sleeping away. Kaveri started shouting at Papanna

KAVERI
Ayyo.. maguna yake alli malgsiddira.
thoo.. onchooru manushatvane illa..
olle prani tara agidira
[Ayyo..why did you kept the kid aside.
You..you doesn’t even have little bit
Of humanity. Behaves like an animal]

Papanna got confused and going to touch her again; but he

hesitates. He is obsessively looking at her and sleeps. Kaveri
lights off the lamp. Papanna is looking at the roof and sleeps.

Tungamma relieved and closes her eyes.

17.EXT.BACK SIDE OF THE HOUSE - DAY

Kaveri is bringing water from the big container; she looks

tiered. Papanna is seeing from the far. He goes to her and asks
her. Kaveri doesn't respond anyting. But Papanna forcefully
takes it from her.

PAPANNA
Nange helidre naa tartirla?
Ninoble allinda tartiyalla.
[You could have tell me. Why are
you taking trouble all alone]

Kaveri doesn't respond anything.

PAPANNA
Nee henge istu tooka iradna allinda
tartiya marayti..ninge kodpana idkanake
antane devru sontana hange sristi madirbeku

God may specially create your wrist
To keep the water container]

Kaveri who was angry couldn't control her laugh, she slightly
laughs at him. Papanna also feel happy.

17. A.EXT.BACKYARD OF THE HOUSE - DAY

Tungamma saw them; both are coming. Tungamma got worried again.
She goes and sits in the Kitchen and thinking.

18. INT.POST OFFICE - EVENING

Bombay Babu and other friends are playing Play cards in the
Papanna's Post office. Papanna is checking few Posts and writing

Papanna get down from the cycle and sat near the bridge. He is
breathing very fast. He just thinks and feel guilty and started

searching for the Post. It is flows away in the river. He feels
