Guided Experience
1. The students will see a column graph on the board after the video then the students will review
column graphs through question one they will have to give their thoughts about the column
graph on presented on the board.
2. After giving their thoughts the students will have to complete the graph on the board by adding
a title, scale and labels.

3. Give an explanation about what a dot plot is. The students will receive different dot plots and

4. The students are going to compare the difference between a dot plot and other data displays
shown to them from sheet 13 and they have to find and tell the differences between them.

6. We will collect data about the students positions in their families are they the eldest or the
youngest or are they in the middle.
7. We will make a dot plot on the board using the date that we collected.
8. Then they will write one to two sentences to summaries the data in the dot plot that we made.

Reflection WWW/EBI
The start of lesson went well because I started with a video about the lesson and then used a power point to present
the information the students were able to understand the information presented to them. The lesson would have been
better if I prepared more activities.

Behavior management
The students weren’t behaving well so I had to tell them be quiet several times.

Groupings/differentiation
The students were sitting in their normal seating’s.
Next Steps in learning and teaching
Practice saying math words more before the lesson next time.
