What policy course should Iran choose to best benefit itself in

its relationship with the United States, and why?
Possible policy choices may include:

 Continue to adhere to the Nuclear Deal (JCPOA) along with the EU, the UK, France,
Germany, Russia, and China, and snub the United States.
 Renegotiate the Nuclear Deal with the United States and agree to the U.S.’s expanded
demands while expecting the other JCPOA countries will join in.
 Withdraw from the JCPOA and all further negotiations while continuing to develop its
nuclear program with the intent of creating nuclear weapons regardless of sanctions
imposed by the U.S. and other nations.
 Escalate launching or funding terrorist attacks (including cyber warfare) that target the
United States until the U.S. discontinues its interference in Iran’s affairs and withdraws its
trade sanctions.
 Disband or overthrow its own theocratic government and establish a democratic
government that is more in harmony with the West.
 Put aside its long held differences with the other Moslem countries of the Middle East and
form a league of Moslem countries for their mutual benefit in regards to trade, cultural
exchange, and defense, in opposition to the countries of the West.
