    A RESEARCH ON EFFECTIVENESS OF FINED COCONUT HUSK TO

    THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE AS AN ADDITIVES

    Abstract
    This study offers an additive to concretes to enhance the compressive
    strength of a concrete. The study analyzes the structural performance of coconut
    husk fibers when added to the concrete. This will be done by fining first the husk
    of the coconut then will be added to the concrete as a partial replacement for
    cement. Using coconut husk fibers as an additive to concrete will not just enhance
    the strength of the concrete but also helps as to recycle the coconut husk since it is
    considered as a waste by most of people.
