7. What are the fields of geotechnical engineering.

Geotechnical engineering.

Is the branch of Geological and Civil Engineering that studies the mechanical,
hydraulic and engineering properties of materials from the geological
environment applied to Civil Engineering works.
between their fields are:
-Tunnels -Foundations
-Slope Stability, -Pavements
-Dams -Containment
-Excavations -Structures
-Mining -Prevention of Exogenous Geological Risks
8. Make a description chart of haptic comercial áreas.

haptic comercial áreas

Comercial áreas Description
There are several'Haptic' interfaces in the case of medical
simulation that can be useful in attempting to minimise
Medicine the damage caused by the use of invasive procedures
(laparoscopy/interventional radiology) and allow remote
retrieval.
Teleoperators are operators who control tools remotely,
Teleoperators and simulators and it is necessary in these cases for strong contact forces
to return to the teleoperator. This is called haptic
teleoperation.
One of these technologies consists of transmitting the
Haptic Screenshots roughness by changing the friction of the screen, which
makes us feel the surface of what appears on the screen
when we touch it.
Some devices developed for gaming have these features.
Videogames It is particularly noticeable in some joysticks and game
controllers that provide a haptic return.

10. Write the biography of James Prescott joule.

James Prescott Joule

He was born on 24 December 1818 in Salford, Lancashire (Great Britain). It is best known for its
research in electricity and thermodynamics.
One of the most remarkable physicists of his time, he is best known for his research in
electricity and thermodynamics. In the course of his research into the heat released in an
electrical circuit, he formulated the law currently known as Joule's law which establishes that
the amount of heat produced in a conductor by the passage of an electric current every second
is proportional to the resistance of the conductor and to the square of the current intensity.
Joule experimentally verified the law of energy conservation in his study of the conversion of
mechanical energy into thermal energy.
Using many independent methods, Joule determined the numerical relationship between
thermal and mechanical energy, or the mechanical equivalent of heat. The unit of energy called
the joule is named after it; it is equivalent to 1 watt - second. Together with his compatriot,
physicist William Thomson (later Lord Kelvin), Joule discovered that the temperature of a gas
drops when it expands without any work being done. This phenomenon, known as the Joule-
Thomson effect, is the basis for normal refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
Joule received many honors from universities and scientific societies around the world. His
Scientific Writings (2 volumes) were published in 1885 and 1887 respectively.
