MALTA INTERNATIONAL SINGERS FESTIVAL 2018

The director of SINGER STAGE ACADEMY -

KAYA (PRISCILLA GIORDANO PSAILA) will be doing the 7th edition of this in-
ternational festival. This festival is going to be held at the “City Theatre” at
the capital city of Malta “Valletta” on the

2nd, 3rd and 4th November 2018.

On the 31st October - Arrival

on the 1st November - Rehearsals + Opening

on the 2nd November - Festival (1st round for category A, B & C)

on the 3rd November - Excursion & Festival (1st Round for category D & E )

on the 4th November - Grand Final (2nd Round for all categories + Results)

on the 5th November - Departure

Singers will have to perform 3 songs,

- 1 song for the opening - Free choice

- 1 song for the 1st round festival - Free choice
- 1 song for the 2nd round Festival - Free choice
- All singers will sing on half playback. The main voice will be live but the in-
struments and backing vocals must be recorded.

Categories
A - 5 to 8 years

B - 9 to 10 years

C - 11 to 12 years

D - 13 to 15 years

E - 16 over

PARTICIPATION FEE IS 70 EUROS

If you have the Invitation Certificate the participation fee is free. A copy of
the certificate must be send with the application, if not participation fee must
be paid.

Participants must apply by fill in the application and send it by email on

singerstage@live.com not later than 30th September 2018.

2. Colour recent photo on high quality

3. The instrumental of the 3 songs

Rewards

Every participant will be given a participation certificate

1. 1 place , 2 place and 3 place will be given in every section

2. Singer Stage Overall Winner – this trophy will be given for the singer
with the highest points and 200 Euros

There are also other special prices and Junior Grand Prix for the singer with
the highest points from categories from A,B and C

Jury
The Jury will vote with the total of 50 points on voice and interpretation.
Their will be only the head of jury that will vote for every participants with
points for example 20.23 or 21.40 or 19.37 so we will avoid singers to have
the same points.
For Airport transfers, Festival and Rehearsals transfers and extra activities
each person have to pay 55 Euros

All participants and all accompanying people will pay the sum of 260 euros
per person. (5 nights). Children under 10 years old will pay 200 euros

Costs include full accommodation, breakfast and one other meal per day for
the contestant and all accompanying people from the 31st October till 5th
November 2018
