INDUSTRIAL VISIT REPORT

INTRODUCTION

An industrial visit to “Hindustan Coca-Cola beverages Pvt Limited” bidadi

Industrial Area, Karnataka was successfully organized by the Department of
commerce on Wednesday, 29/08/2018. Fifty seven students and one faculty
(prof. Megha.s) visited to Hindustan Coca-Cola Pvt ltd to understand how the
production activity, management process, technology works and also to
acquire knowledge and experience.

We all students went to Coca-Cola Company in college bus. The bus left the
campus by 8: 45 AM and reached the venue at 10: 45 AM

After the security check the students were taken to introduction room and
given a briefing of rules and guidelines to be followed by everyone inside the
industry. we were divided into two batches and at 11: 15 AM we were
escorted to Assembly line by the production manager and our guide Mr. Guru
lingaiyaa and briefly explained about the process and operations undertaken by
the plants and machinery like water treatment, mixing the ingredients like
sugar, flavor ,co2,nitragon,syrup etc. . He also explained how the bottle is
manufactured , what are the quality test undergone and what they do with the
rejected products .They also adhere to strict water quality standards and the
raw materials which they used in the production activity .
Finally we were taken to seminar hall by our guide Mr. Guru Lingaiyaa and he
answered each and every question asked by the students patiently and before
leaving, the company offered unlimited cold drinks to all student students.

The industrial visit to Coca Cola Company enriched our knowledge and
experience and also provided a great opportunity to learn practically through
demonstration, interaction, exchange of Information and Employment
practices which will help the students in their further career growth
