Aim

The aim of this project is to assess the working of a shop with a starting capital of
10000 borrowed from our parents and running it for 5 days utilizing all the base money. After 5
days are over, calculate the generated revenue in either profit or loss.

Introduction

This is my first ever Maths Project Work. I had delight in working it but the important
thing is that I learned the working of a shop. Although it was assigned for only five days, I had a
good experience playing with numbers and calculations. It makes Maths more interesting.
The 'tempoary' shop was located in my locality at a junction a few metres from my house. It was
a perfect location - many people flocked here although some goods were left unsold.

Conclusion

From this project, I can conclude that running a shop isn’t as easy as it seems. Though at the end
profit is usually made. But working with numbers and calculations makes the reward worth of
experience.
