After directing you web browser to the start page of the Web based staff system the following start screen will be displayed:

The start screen offers several options to proceed:

1. The dropdown menu ‘FREE ACCESS’ provides a selection of layout configurations. Here you can select a stored configuration which will
automatically be activated. The configuration box can contain only configurations which are accessible for all users.

Just select a configuration with the mouse and press


the left mouse key or enter to activate a stored
configuration.

3. To login into the staff system, please enter your UserID and password in the ‘LOGIN’-box. After a valid login your username will be displayed in the
brackets behind the word ‘User’. Next to the ‘FREE ACCESS’ select box two further select boxes for ‘PROTECTED ACCESS’ and
‘PERSONAL ACCESS’ will be displayed (see screenshot below). The ‘LOGIN’-Button changes to a ‘LOGOUT’-Button.

3. Once you have selected a configuration, an actual database snapshot depending on the stored page settings will be displayed. To update the
information on the screen, simply click on the ‘Refresh’-Button. Alternatively you can enter a time in seconds in the text field next to the
‘Refresh-Button’, then press the ‘Refresh’-button to start the automatic refresh function any xxx seconds
