AUTOBIOGRAPY

My name is Jaszel A. Flores and I was born on the 11th of April, 2000 in UST manila.
When my mother got pregnant, they really took care of me because im their 4 th baby and the 3
baby before me died and did not survive, so by that that they took care of my mother and me,
because my mother is 37 years old that time and my father is 41 years old that time. My parents
name is Jasmin A. Flores and Zaldy Flores. My mother is working abroad as domestic helper and
my father died at the age of 58 in 2015 from a massive heart attack.

I grew up in GMA Cavite where our business is restaurant. I quickly learned about our
menu recipe and how to manage our costumer and our business. When I was in grade 6 our
business broke down and got bankrupt, so I transferred in Carmona Cavite and I continue my
grade 7 and 8. Grade 9, from Cavite I transferred in Santa Praxedes Cagayan and continue my
study there.

Later as an adolescent, I was an simple high school student, not a smart one or not good
in academic one, but im in the middle. All I want is to pursue my studies and my dream, to
become a teacher someday, and make my parents proud. I studied senior high at Divine Word
College of Laoag and I graduated with honors.

Growing up far from my mother because she’s working abroad and without my father is
really hard, I always feel incomplete. Seeing other family complete makes me happy and envy. I
really miss my parents and I miss the feeling of having a whole happy family. By this I make our
situation as my inspiration to fly high and to finish my study and to have a better future. So that
my mother and specially my father will be proud to me. And all their efforts sweat and tiredness
will be replaced.

I thought I could not pass the exam and go to study at MMSU because my grade is not
high like others. Now im taking Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Filipino, and I will
do all and prove to all that I deserve to be one of the students in MMSU and to become a future
teacher someday.
