-Assessment of student requires the use of a variety of technique for measuring outcomes.

According to the;

DepED No. 73, s. 2012

Assessment shall be used primarily as quality assurance to tract student progress to attainment
standard, promote self-reflection and personal accountability for one learning and provide a basis
for the profiling of student program
