A Look Through the Arts
Art Centered Learning in Room 4…
● We read “The Good for Nothing Button” and loved it! We created our own comic book
style stories based on the book and shared them with our readiing buddies.
● Jasper Johns - we studied the art, chose two four-digit numbers to create our own art
and then used the numbers to show our addition and subtraction strategies.
● Continuing to develop our portait drawing skills
● Designing and building bridges to support mass
● Creating classroom blueprints
