EVIDENCE
1. Lee returns the purse he found to the woman.
2. Lee admits that the ball was flattened by the dog. So he compensates
by giving the little girl the money he earned from walking the dog
3. Lee admits that he does not have any money to go to the fair.
The novel that I chose is Fair’s Fair by Narinder Dhami and the
theme that I like is ‘honesty is the best policy’. Honesty means the act
of telling the truth. This proverb means that one must always be
honest because that is the mark of a good person.
The second incident is when Lee admits that the ball was flattened
by the dog. So he compensates by giving the little girl the money he
earned from walking the dog. This shows honesty is the best policy
because he has helped the little girl to not feel sad about her ball.
