= BE FIRMLY AND SECURELY SEATED AT CONTROLS.
. ON A GRADE. DO NOT SHIFT TRANSMISSION UNLESS ROLLER IS
FULLY STOPPED WITH EMERGENCY BRAKE ON,
USE CAUTION ON UNEVEN SURFACES ANO ROUGH TERRAIN.
LOOK BOTH WAYS WHEN REVERSING.
NO RIDERS ALLOWED.
|. DO NOT GET ON OR OFF MOVING ROLLER: ALWAYS USE PROPER
STEPS AND HAND GRIPS
NEVER COAST OR FREE-WHEEL WITH ROLLER.
BEFORE LEAVING ROLLER, ADJUST AND SET PARKING BRAKE, ADJUST
AND SET TRAVEL LEVER IN NEUTRAL, VIBRATION OFF, ENGINE OFF.
KEEP ROLLER CLEAN; AVOID DIRT AND GREASE ON OPERATOR
PLATFORM.
KEEP ALL OPERATION PLATES AND DECALS CLEAN AND READABLE.
BLOCK ROLLS/TIRES AND FASTEN STEERING LOCK WHEN SERVICING

‘This manuai provides description, traublesheoting
and maintenance instructions for the Dynapac
Model CA+i5 series Self-Propelled Vibratory
Compactors. The compactors are designed and
manufactured by Dynapac Mfg Inc, Kelly Place,
Stanhope, New Jersey 07874 U.S.A.
The Model CA-15 Compactor Operator’s Manual
and the Illustrated Parts Manual are companion
Dynapae publications.
Nomenclature in the Illustrated Parts Manual has
been used throughout the manuals to maintain
consistency and promote understanding.
References to right hand (RH) and left hand (LH) are
as seen facing forward from the operator's station,
References 10 clockwise (CW) and counterciock-
wise (CCW) ate as seen when facing the item as it
normatly mounted on the compactor,
The text applies to all compactors unless
differences are separately identified,
Included in the data package are maintenance and
parts manuals by other manufacturer's for
