Students

o Syllabus should be modified according to GATE syllabus

o Provide some courses to increase practical knowledge in civil engineering stream.
o Modiff the syllabus of applied mechanics to improve fundamental knowledge.
Teachers

. Drawing should be included in design subjects of syllabus.

o CACE to be replaced as students are unable to cope up
o Objective type questions should be given importance in examinations
o Concrete technology syllabus must be changed according to practical aspects.
o Additional topics must be added in the subject of structural analysis.
o Transportation engineering syllabus must be modified according to GATE syllabus.
r Some advance subjects must be added to course structure.

Action Taken Report

* CACE is replaced with Drafting based on AutoCAD for RCC and steel design.
* Drafting of designs through AutoCAD is implemented in Rl4 regulations
* Recommended for implementation from coming regulations.
* The syllabus of subjects are modified in R14 regulations.
