Procedure:

1. Insert the round/sharp-edge orifice to the orifice apparatus

2. Secure the screw of the orifice to the apparatus to prevent it from
falling
3. Put the inlet pipe of the orifice apparatus to the water outlet of the
hydraulics bench for the water source
4. Plug in the hydraulics bench for electricity source
5. Open the pump of the hydraulics bench
6. Gently adjust the control valve for the desire discharge of water until it
reaches the apparatus
7. Wait until the height of the container become steady
8. Compute the discharge by getting the volume per time elapse
9. Tangent the pitot tube to the nearest surface of the water jet by rotate
the valve counterclockwise to the farthest surface of the water jet to
get the diameter of the vena contracta
10. Then that rotation must divide to 2 to get the rotation needed
for getting the pitot head at the right side of the twin tube manometer
11. Repeat the above procedure for the three trials per orifice.
