How to create different types of connectors in Access Control 10.0

Purpose
This purpose of this wiki is to provide instructions on how to setup the connector configuration in Access control 10.0.

Instructions on how to setup various connector configurations in Access control 10.0.

 SAP CONNECTOR
 LDAP CONNECTOR
 LOGICAL CONNECTOR
 

1. SAP CONNECTOR
To Create a connector:

1. Enter Transaction SPRO, and then click button.

2. Navigate to SAP Reference IMG > Governance, Risk, and Control > Common Component Settings >  Integration Framework > Create Connectors.
3. Click on Create icon
. 

4..Enter the name for the RFC Destination

5. Enter the description for the connector

6. Enter the connection Type 3

7. Save your entries

Under the Technical Settings tab enter the target address.

•The IP is usually the same as the host name 

   8.Under the Logon & Security define the following fields

Language EN

Client Enter the Client number for the Target system

 User Enter User name for a user on target system

Password Enter password for the user on target system

Trust Click the appropriate radio button. 

Relationship

  9. Save your entries.

 10.  Navigate to SAP Reference IMG > Governance, Risk, and Control > Common Component Settings > Integration Framework > Maintain Connectors and Connection Types.

  11.. Double-Click Define Connectors on the left side dialogue box.

  12.. Click on New Entries button

   13.  Enter the data for the following fields.

Target Connector Select the  RFC Connector created 

Connection Type SAP

Source Connector Not needed (See Note)

Logical Port Not relevant

Maximum number Not relevant

2. Creating LDAP Connector

1.Enter Transaction SPRO, and then click button.

2.Navigate to Governance, Risk, and Control > Common Component Settings > Integration Framework > Create Connectors.

3.Click on Create
icon. 

  
 

4.Enter the name for the RFC Destination.

Note -

RFC destination name must be specified in capital letters.

5. Enter Description.

6. Enter the Connection Type as T.

7. Under the Technical Settings tab enter the following information.

 Application Type Click  radio button Registered Server Program

Program Same as RFC Destination name

CPI-C Click radio button Default Gateway Value

Gateway gateway with which the LDAP Connector is to register

8.Save your entries.

9.Under the Technical Settings tab enter the following information.

Application Type Click  radio button Registered Server Program

Program Same as RFC Destination name

CPI-C Click radio button Default Gateway Value

Gateway gateway with which the LDAP Connector is to register

10.Save your entries.

11.Navigate to SAP Reference IMG > Governance, Risk, and Control > Common Component Settings > Integration Framework > Maintain Connectors and Connection Types .

12.Double-Click Define Connectors on the left side dialogue box.

13.Click on New Entries button

14.Enter the data for the following fields.

Target Connector Select the  RFC Connector created

Connection Type LDAP

Source Connector Same as Target Connector

 Logical Port Same as LDAP Server name in LDAP Transaction (Block letters)

Maximum number Not mandatory (can be configured after consulting SAP Basis person).

1. Save your work.

2. Enter transaction LDAP.
3. Click on button "LDAP Servers".
4. Click on Pencil icon to switch to change mode, then click New Entries.
5. Enter the following data for the LDAP Connector:

Connector Name Same as the RFC Destination defined for the LDAP connector above.

Application Name of the application server on which the LDAP Connector is to be started.
Server

Status Connector is Active

Trace Level Trace OFF

1. Save your entries. Click  to start the connector.

2. Configure the LDAP Server using the following values:

Server name Server

Name

Host name Host Name

Port Number Port number

Trace Level Trace OFF

1. Enter transaction LDAPMAP.
2. Click on Pencil Icon to switch to change mode, then press  F6 to get default mapping.
3. Navigate to SAP Reference IMG > Governance, Risk, and Control > Common Component Settings > Integration Framework > Maintain Connection Settings .
4. Select the Integration Scenario .
5. Select the subscenario .
6. Double-click on Scenario-Connector Link
7. Click New Entries button.
8. Select or Enter the name of the target connector. 

 3. Creating LOGICAL Connector

Used to define Connector groups into Logical or Cross System Group types. You can enter change mode and edit existing or click new entries to define new group types. Choose one of
the following from the dropdown menu.

Automated Monitoring
Framework

Logical Group Is a connector group type which consists the systems that are logically the same. 
Example: Oracle financials system 1, Oracle Financials system 2, etc… 

Logical System Group

SAP (SDM) SAP (SDM)

SAP (SDM) SAP (SDM)

Cross System Group Is a connector group type which consists the systems with different environment 
Example: 
 Cross System Group

SAP (SDM) LDAP (MS)

WS (Oracle: Financials) SAP (CRM)

Assign Connectors to Connector Groups

For assigning connectors to connector group follow the below steps

1. Go to "Maintain mapping for actions and connectors gropus "

2 .Maintain the feild for "mainatin connector group statua by entering the valid connector name and status as active status ,

3. Click on assign connector to connector Group enter data for appropriate feilds
