PHONES IN SCHOOL ROOMS
When you were a kid did you ever have to call your mother and the school wouldn't
let you? Kids today still have to call their mothers sometimes! But they school won’t let
them! Schools have become much stricter about the phones even when it’s an emergency
sometimes. So that’s why it would be a great thing if schools would let us have cell phones
in school.
Cell phones have been an issue in schools ever since they became a bug thing
amongst teenagers. A friend of mine once says, “There could be an emergency that no one
knows about and there might not be time to reach a phone!” In a lot of schools’ teachers
take it to far. They take students cell phones even when they aren't using them and they are
turned off and hidden so that they don't disturb anybody. Teachers shouldn't be allowed to
take cell phones when they aren’t even bothering anyone they are put on silent and they
are hidden from other classmates!
“I wasn’t even using it and the teacher saw it in my backpack and confiscated it!” I
tried to explain that I had to have it for later that day when my practice was over but she
wouldn’t listen!” So many students bring their cell phones to school for reasons like that!
Only to have their teacher confiscate it!
In emergencies it is very important to have a way for a child to reach their parents!
Some student says, “We need them in school because if there was an emergency and we
couldn’t use the school phones for one reason or another we could pull out our cell
phones!” Anything can happen in our world today and having a cell phone with your child at
all times could save their life!
Cell phones should be allowed in schools but they’re not! They keep a child in touch
with their parents and are easy to keep up with! They can even save lives! Please let cell
phones be allowed in schools.

WHAT IF
I know I'm nothing, not even a dime
I know I'm just a blink in time
I know I'm broken, non-fixable now
But if you could just try and fix me somehow?

If you could just take my head in your hands

Bestow a nod that understands
If you could take this worn out soul
If you could mend it, make it whole

If I was different, my heart didn't bleed

If I was free of envy and greed
If I was better, happier and pure
If I was...perhaps you'd like me more?

If I knew the spell to make it all right

If I knew the dreams you dreamed in the night
If I saw the hopes and fears that you see
If I had the locket, held the key

If I was or only I wasn't so tall

If I was perhaps petite and small, or
If I was lighter, brighter and sweet
If I could put the world at your feet

If only I could fit the mold

If only it was me you would want to hold
If only I were younger, handsome and free...
Then maybe you could love me?

TO LIVE OR NOT
Fires ablaze within my eyes,
Screaming, begging, calling out,
A final, frantic, desperate, shout.
A smile concealing all my lies,
Scarlet tears drip from each vein,
This silver blade, stays by my side,
Because all hope inside has died,
A vehement covet to end this pain.
As each day ends, and darkness draws,
I'm helpless, alone, a worthless mess,
A broken child, he must address.
The devil toys, with all my flaws.

I'm tempted when he calls my name,

To make it feel a lot less real,
A deal with the Devil, in blood must I seal,
A way out, an escape, an end to shame.

They'll say I died of suicide,

It wasn't a rope, a blade, or pills,
That broke my soul, and gave me chills,
But no one knows how much they've lied.

I died inside so long before,

Pills could not kill what was already dead,
A twisted soul, an empty head,
To live each day, an endless chore.
In darkness I wait, in silence, alone,
I beckon the devil, with the key of self-harm,
And I open the door for him, with the blood of my arm,
Rose-tinted nostalgia, all around me has grown.

I SHOULD HAVE
He is a friend to remember,
A friend I miss so much.
I think about all the laughter
And even the times we'd touch.

I know you know the score now

As you look down from above.
You see me full of sorrow
'Cause so much of you I love.

I wish I had the chance,

But you decided you had to go.
That night you asked me for that dance
I should have told you so.

But as every day has passed,

I can almost feel you near.
I just always thought you'd forever last
But now it's you I cannot hear.

Just one thing I should have said

While you were still down here,
But you stepped inside that bloody shed,
Though I will always hold you near.

I know to heaven you have been led.

You're my angel up above,
But just one thing I should have said.
It was you I always LOVED.
FREE-VERSE
SIMPLY ME
I sing because I love to.
For it is my passion
I love too easily,
and I forgive others before I forgive myself.
I hate not knowing what the future brings,
yet it spikes my curiosity.
I get shy, but never for too long.
I want others to feel my difference.
I seek the diversity in life,
and I embrace all that meets my face.

I am sorry those of you who do not know me.

Life never ends,
and there is plenty of time
for all to see the reality of it all.
Let me smile for every reason and not just one.
Let me speak without hesitation in my voice.
Let me be who I am without judgment of our cruel society.
Let me yell out loud and have all join me because we are all one.
So put the past behind and look forward to what tomorrow has to offer.
SPORTS WRINTING

Spectacular game we’ve witnessed at North Poblacion Basketball Court

It was a great morning that a game has took place at this date, won by the team Mobile
Legends over team Palahubog on a close score 28 to 25. With the cheerers lead by Ms. Carbon
with their voiced that echoed in every corners of the court, A game that is so memorable is
about to be realized.
It was a slow start from Team Mobile legends that gives Team palahubog a good start. On
the 2nd quarter of the game the score tied at 14 to 14 and slowly with a consistent score of
Mr. Chavez of Team Mobile Legends they slowly managed to outscore the opposing team.
But on the 3rd quarter Mr. Pajo of Team Palahubog drilled a couple of Three point shots that
put the Team Mobile legends in a tight spot. In the middle of 3 rd quarter the two teams
exchange some good score a remarkable lay-ups and shooting puts Team Mobile legends
gives them and advantage, on the other hand Mr. Poligrates of Team Palahubog showed some
nice Middle jump shoots that put Team Mobile Legends at bay. 4th quarter the last and
deciding moment wherein Team mobile Legends doubled team and defended the top score
of Team Palahubog Mr. Daiz with their persevering efforts they stopped the Slam dunks of
Mr. Daiz, it somehow crippled the Team Palahubog to keep in phase to the Fast plays of Team
Mobile Legends. It was Mr. Guzman of Team Mobile Legends took the Consecutive Half-Court
shoots that lowered the morale of Team Palahubog with his fade-away Dunks that surely
ended the game superbly.
An unexpected turn of events happened on that very day that a Team of non-muscular boys
win a game of Basketball over a Team that is supposedly built for this kind of Game.
