ABSTRACT
Multiple Intelligences are a set of abilities that allow students to be able to solve problems
in their daily life. This research is based on there is differences of intellegences’student and lack of
student activity in participating in learning science in MTs Nurul Huda Semarang. This study aims to
determine the improvement of students' cognitive learning o after following the Multiple
Intelligences learning models with the content of interconnection-interconnection of science and
Islam and effectiveness of Multiple Intelligences learning models with the content of
interconnection-interconnection of science and Islam on student learning outcomes in Sound
material. This research includes quantitative research. The method using quasi-experimental with
pretest-posttest. The population of this research were all eighth grade students who were divided into
six classes. The sample of this research is obtained by cluster random sampling. Techniques of
collection data using documentation techniques, tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique
of this reasearch uses the analysis of t-test and N-Gain test to improve learning outcomes. The results
of this study obtained tcount ≥ t table, the Based on data analysis of students’ cognitive assessment
showing that the Multiple Intelligences learning model with the content of integration-
interconnection of science and Islam is effective on improving learning outcomes and the results of
the analysis of the N-Gain test showed that the improvement in learning outcomes in the
experimental class is medium and the control class is low.
