Q1. DO I NEED TO SPEAK FRENCH TO APPLY?
No knowledge of the French language is required. All of our degree programs are taught 100% in English.

Q2. WHEN ARE THE INTAKE SESSIONS FOR PARIS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS PROGRAMS?
Paris School of Business has two intake sessions: Fall and Spring. Please see below a list of programs
offered in each session.

The Tuition fees below are only applicable to the 2018-19 academic year. Fees are subject to change for the
2019-20 academic year.

Q4. HOW DO I APPLY?
 Online application: Candidates may apply online at psbedu.paris
 Application via post or email: Candidates may apply by application form and sent by post
(59 rue Nationale, 75013 Paris, France) or by email to admission@psbedu.paris

Once we have received a complete application, candidates will be contacted for an interview with the Dean
of their chosen program. This interview will be conducted in English on campus in Paris or via
telephone/Skype for international students.

Q5. WHEN CAN I EXPECT AN ADMISSION RESULT?


Candidates will receive their admission result within two weeks after the interview date.

Q6. CAN I APPLY AS A TRANSFER STUDENT TO THE BBA PROGRAM?


Paris School of Business does accept applications from transfer students for the BBA program.
During the application process, it is essential that transfer students submit transcripts for all university studies
completed and a list of courses currently in progress so that we can determine how many credits can be
transferred.

Q7. WHAT APPLICATION DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO SUBMIT FOR THE BBA PROGRAM?
 CV/Resume
 Copy of passport
 Passport-sized ID photograph (preferably in jpeg format)
 Motivation letter
 1 recommendation letter (from a professor)
 Proof of high school diploma – if in process, this may be submitted later upon completion of
high school diploma + relevant transcripts
 English language proficiency test score (TOEFL or IELTS accepted) – if you have not yet
obtained your result, this may be submitted later upon receipt
 € 90 non-refundable application fee
In addition to the above documents, TRANSFER STUDENTS (including IB Candidates) must submit:
 Transcripts for all university studies completed
 A list of courses currently being studied and pending results

Q8. WHAT APPLICATION DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO SUBMIT FOR THE MSC & MBA
PROGRAMS?
 CV
 Copy of passport
 Passport-sized ID photograph (preferably in jpeg format)
 Motivation letter
 2 reference letters (academic or professional)
 Copy of undergraduate degree certificate + relevant transcripts – if in progress, this may be
submitted later upon completion of degree
 English language proficiency test score (TOEFL or IELTS accepted) - if you have not yet
obtained your result, this may be submitted later upon receipt
 € 90 non-refundable application fee

Q9. DO I NEED GMAT OR GRE TO APPLY FOR THE MSC OR MBA PROGRAMS?
Paris School of Business does not require GMAT or GRE test scores for admission.

Q10. WHAT SHOULD I INCLUDE IN THE APPLICATION MOTIVATION LETTER?
The Motivation Letter should reveal to the Jury of Admissions a unique image of yourself, your values, and
the distinctive qualities that make you a suitable candidate for our program.
The questions below may be used as a guideline.
 What are your career objectives? In what specific ways would studying at Paris School of Business
help you to fulfill these objectives?
 Explain how your study plan fits in with your previous training and career objectives
 What are your strengths? What skills would you like to improve?
 Discuss your extra-curricular/non-work related interests
 Describe a situation where your objectives were not met and what you learnt from it
 Please feel free to supply any additional information that you believe will be beneficial to the Jury of
Admissions when considering your application

Q11. DOES PARIS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS OFFER ANY SCHOLARSHIPS?


Paris School of Business awards merit scholarships to candidates who have shown academic excellence and
outstanding extracurricular achievements and dedication.
 Undergraduate Program: merit scholarship can run up to € 1,000.
 Graduate Programs: merit scholarship can run up to € 2,000.

Q12. HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE PARIS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS MERIT SCHOLARSHIP?
Candidates must send a Scholarship Request Letter to the Admissions Office along with their application,
stating the reasons why they deserve to be awarded such scholarship. (1 page maximum)

Q13. HOW DO I REGISTER?


After receiving your admission letter, you will need to complete the registration form and send a down
payment of your tuition fee in order to register.

Q14. WHAT ARE THE TUITION FEE PAYMENT OPTIONS?


You may then decide between two tuition fee payment options:
 1st Option: Down payment (upon registration) + remaining tuition fee balance before start of classes

 2nd Option: Down payment (upon registration) + two installments during the academic year (i.e.
December + February)

Q15. DO I NEED A STUDENT VISA TO STUDY IN FRANCE?


Students from non-European countries must apply for a student visa at the French Consulate or Embassy in
their home country or country of residence.

Q16. HOW DO I APPLY FOR A STUDENT VISA?


Upon registration, Paris School of Business provides students with a letter of enrollment (entitled ‘Attestation
d’inscription’ in French). This enrollment letter is the document required for visa application.
We strongly recommend that students apply for visa as early as possible. Students should also carefully
verify with their local French Consulate or Embassy the necessary documentation and requirements for visa
application (requirements differ depending on countries).

Q17. WHAT ARE THE ESTIMATED LIVING EXPENSES IN PARIS?
The monthly estimated expenses for a student living in Paris:

 Lodging: € 500 to € 1,400


 Meals: € 350 to € 500
 Monthly Metro: € 75.20 Zone 1-5
 Book expenses: approximately 6 books required per semester ranging from € 40 - € 80 per book,
depending on level and program.
 Miscellaneous: € 250

Q18. CAN I WORK WHILE STUDYING?


International students in France on a student visa can legally work a maximum of 964 hours per year (about
20 hours per week). Please note that part-time work cannot be expected to cover all of your living expenses,
but can help provide you with extra spending money.

Q19. HOW DO I FIND ACCOMMODATION IN PARIS?


As Paris School of Business is a centrally located campus in Paris, we do not offer on-campus

 CIUP Accommodation for MSc & MBA students: Paris School of Business has a partnership with
Student Residence: Cité Universitaire Internationale de Paris (CIUP).

We have reserved a limited number of rooms for our graduate students. Rooms are distributed on a
first-come-first-served basis
