Senior Engineer, Rescue Body Engineering, Dec ’04-Aug ‘06
Responsible for the completion of body development activities for over 50 Rescue vehicles per year
ranging in price from $250K to $900K per vehicle.
May ‘00-Dec ’04 AK Specialty Vehicles n/k/a Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles, Harvey, IL, www.oshkoshsv.com
Manufacture 130+ vehicles per year serving the TV production, law enforcement, and medical
industries. OSV generates sales revenues of approximately $100M per year, with 250 employees. OSV
is a subsidiary of Oshkosh Truck Corp which has assets of $6.4 billion.
Senior Project Manager, Specialty Vehicles Division
Directed up to ten reports, in the design, engineering, and production of over 60 vehicles per year
ranging in price from $250K to several million dollars.
Design tasks included the development of layouts, structures, mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics,
HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Analysis included stress (hand calcs & FEA), HVAC (hand calcs
& Carrier Block Loads), power loading, and center of gravity calculations.
Developed product specifications, negotiated project details, developed detailed costing projections,
and worked as the principal liaison between customers and manufacturing through project
completion, while consistently achieving 20-60% margins.
Sep ‘97-June ’98 Lockheed Martin Astronautics, Cape Canaveral, Florida, www.lmco.com
Launch satellite payloads into orbit utilizing Atlas & Centaur rocket systems, fully processing
approximately one space vehicle per month, with 300 employees. Lockheed has total assets of $28B.
Systems Engineer (Atlas Centaur Launch Operations), Secret Clearance

Responsible for the Launcher (pneumatically controlled, hydraulically actuated launching mechanism),
Rocket Fuel, and Water Deluge systems. Responsibilities included manning operations panels during
launches and processing systems leading up to launches.
Supervised crews of up to 25 mechanics, technicians, and engineers in processing launch vehicles for
flight.
Aug ‘96-Aug ’97 Lockheed Martin Electronics & Missiles, Orlando, Florida, www.lmco.com
Develop defense related electronic, radar, and fire control systems.
Co-op Engineer (Longbow Fire Control Radar), Secret Clearance
Utilized Pro-Engineer, Master Series and Nastran to complete detailed fastener, structural support,
and temperature loading analysis.
Finite Element Modeling included meshing, processing, and post processing. Meshing included
mapped, solid finite elements.
Aug ‘96-Dec ’96 Cape Canaveral Air Station, Cape Canaveral, Florida
This was a joint training project between the Cape Canaveral Air Station, Boeing, the University of
Central Florida, and the Florida Institute of Technology. Boeing develops defense, aeronautical, and
aerospace related electrical and mechanical systems, with total assets of $52B.
Student
Worked on a cross functional team pulled from the above organizations to develop alternative uses
for Boeing’s Inertial Upper Stage (IUS) spacecraft by integrating IUS capabilities with those of a
proposed micro-satellite.
Used Pro-Engineer to develop the mechanical packaging then utilized Master Series to analyze the
system.
