I write in response to your post on Indeed for the Daycare Teacher Assistant job. I am
currently a junior at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and expect to receive my
diploma in the year 2020.

Through my previous positions as a camp counselor and babysitter, I gained

experience in:

Time Management. I had to ensure that the children in my bunk arrived at all activities
on time, and that the speed I was going at did not make the kids feel rushed. When
babysitting I have to make sure the kids have plenty of time to get prepared for bed,
and enough time after getting ready to read books or listen to a story before it is time
for them to go to sleep.

Communication. When having to talk with parents and children, I make sure that
everything I say is clear and that my words do not suggest anything bad. For kids
specifically, I have learned that every child needs to be spoken to in different ways to
make certain they fully understand any type of situation.
Child Safety. I had to be fully aware 100% of the time while at camp to protect the
children from getting into dangerous situations. Being vigilant while at the pool and
while the kids were playing sports were some of the responsibilities I had to ensure that
nobody got injured.

I would be a great candidate for the Daycare Teacher Assistant position. I look
