An Instructional Coach is someone who...

★ Supports teachers in taking action towards his/her goals.


★ Is a partner who helps plan, reflect, problem solve and
make decisions.
★ Is nonjudgmental while giving reflective feedback.
★ Uses highly effective skills of listening and speaking.
★ Mediates resources, clarifies intentions, and identifies
multiple options for self-directed learning and optimum
results.
★ Believes in teachers ability to grow and excel.
★ Uses intentional language that aligns with his/her trust
and belief in others.
