Note to the educator

Does it break your heart to know that the majority of students and adults in the public schools
are unbelievers? Does it motivate you to be the best example of who He is to them? As a
public school servant, we cannot lead our students to Christ. We can pray for their salvation,
Y

treat them as Jesus would treat them and do purposeful acts of kindness for them. Building
up their confidence, sharing their accomplishments and calling home with good news are small
ways we can show them Jesus. Try that phone call home for the student who seems
discouraged in your classroom. Parents fear the call from the teacher because it is almost
A

always something bad that the student has done. This phone call will be just to let them know
that you are so pleased to have their child in your class. This makes a small but powerful
connection that they will remember for a long time.

1:16 PM prayer

Please pray for creativity and excellence in exercising our gifts.
