As a Khalid fan, the director, Samantha Mora, became amazed by his hit song “Location”. The
song came to her head when asked to suggest a smooth song for the film. The original song talks about a
loved one and communication between them which called for a theme relating to affection. Inspired by
youth and media, the director chose to use social media(Snapchat) as a way to cause the protagonist to
become sad and for a plot to be constructed. A shot of Downtown was inspired by where the director
lived and being able to see that view every single day. The version of the song we used was Khalid -
Location (Instrumental) reproduced by ADRO, which is found on youtube with the link provided below..
