PRACTICAL OR TECHNICAL ISSUES
- My primary issue that I may face is that the
song I plan on creating a music video to
may not be released/ready for time of
video
- The travelling location (Portugal) might not
work for both artists.
- May struggle to find location for A-Roll 19 th
century mansion to film in.
- Shots may be difficult to capture
- Actresses / dancer may be difficult to find
- May have difficulty with skills & learning
new techniques
- May struggle with first time using gimble
- Time keeping
SOLUTIONS/CONTINGENCY PLANS
- Agreed with artists to allow me to work
with the rough copy/outline of the song to
create the video from.
- Also agreed with artist to swap out songs,
if primary one is not ready in time.
- Will attempt to find a tropical looking area
in the UK to film at.
- Could also take only one artist to Portugal
to film. But will have to change storyline to
accommodate for this.
- Will downgrade to easier location
- Start the location recce process early to
attempt to secure position for shoot.
- May change/adapt story line to suit
location.
- May have to leave out or replace shots
(that may be captured with a drone)
- Find alternative shooting styles/techniques
- Find an actress or dancer may be difficult,
but with a small budget given by YAYAZ,
negotiations may be in place to secure
talent.
- May change script to remove dancing
- Will scour social media for local talent
- Will allow for more time when exercising
new skills
- Will seek advice from peers and teachers
on how to use equipment effectively
- Will take more time on researching how to
effectively use equipment.
- I must attempt to stay to schedule when
producing this piece. This may mean doing
research in my own personal time and
have further communication with my team
to ensure success.
- Will keep to strict deadlines to ensure
completion of each task and delegate to
items to which I know I can struggle with
(editing, filming etc…)
