Your individual reflection must cover the following.

1. Background:

1.1. Give a brief background of the project.

Our group project, the Legal Tech in Leeds initiative, was borne out of recognizing a

significant gap in the access to legal services for people from BAME backgrounds and ethnic

minorities in the Leeds City region. The project's primary objective was to bridge this gap
and make legal services more affordable and accessible for these communities. This is why

we have focused on finding relevant solutions in terms of this gap by creating and coming up

with a new type of technology that is relevant in this context and that will aid us in terms of

implying the issue in terms of more easily access to legal services, a platform equipped with

AI-powered chatbots for easy navigation: a one-stop-shop for affordable legal help.

1.2. Explain why did you choose it?

The reasons behind selecting this particular project were numerous, and one factor was

our adherence to the principle of fairness. Equality among individuals without discrimination

plays an essential role in creating a harmonious environment. To solve this, we must work

together since having it is crucial. Formulating an answer.

2. About The Project:

2.1 How did you prepare for the project?

In terms of the preparation stage for this project, we have somewhat followed the

Tuckman stage as we have stated the roles of each other in terms of doing the project; we

have delegated tasks, and most important, before jumping to doing, we have assured that each

of the members knows its role and its part and we have spent a lot of time by getting to know

the issues BAME communities and other ethnic minorities face when they're trying to get

legal help. A lot of time was spent researching multiple sources before concluding the deep

dive, and our awareness of the issues triggered our desire to take action.

2.2 What was good about the project?

The project's best moment was when we found a reliable solution. The feedback given by

the instructor has supported this. Putting lots of thought into making our platform user-

friendly was one positive aspect. Creating a tool anyone could easily navigate, no matter their

tech-savvy level, felt like a significant triumph.

2.3 What areas would you have expanded on if you had more time?

Identifying areas for improvement and gathering feedback could have been done through

more extensive user testing. This could have helped us guarantee that the platform is user-

friendly and fulfills the requirements of our intended audience. Besides that, local legal

organizations, law firms, and various community groups could be approached for

partnerships.

2.4 What did you learn?

Our project will reveal the hurdles and disparities that disadvantaged communities go

through, highlighting the importance of confronting such disparities and striving for justness

and equitable access to services. Likewise, collaborating efficiently and delegating tasks were

major lessons I learned from working on a group project. We maximized efficiency in

working towards our objectives by clearly defining roles and ensuring that each person knew

what they needed to do.

3. Presentation:

3.1 How did you prepare?

We prepared our project by following several steps that aided us in making the project

successful.

I. First, we started by planning the flow and structure of the project presentation to

cover key points.

II. Secondly, each team member contributed to content development for the project

presentation, comprising objectives, background, solutions, and the impact the project

aimed to create.

III. Thirdly, we rehearsed our presentation to ensure that each member was familiar with

the content and areas of improvement.

IV. Fourthly, we created visual aids that allowed us to present each slide easily.

V. Time management was the fifty items that we ensured we allocated time for each

slide, allowed us to present the project in the required time, and ensured we explained

concise key points.

VI. Lastly, we sought peer feedback and anticipated questions that might arise during the

presentation.

3.2 What went well, and what didn't go so well?

During our presentation, rehearsals, content delivery, time management, and visual aids

were key elements that went well on the project presentation. Addressing unexpected queries

and technical glitches are some components that caused difficulties during the presentation,

but we managed to handle them.

3.3 What did you learn from preparing and delivering the presentation?

Preparing and delivering the presentation positively impacted our communication skills,

which improved our adaptability, teamwork, presentation skills, preparation strategies, and

confidence. The practical insights from it apply to our future presentations and professional

pursuits.

3.4 On what criteria should your presentation be assessed?

Our presentation should be assessed by content delivery, organization, clarity, visual aids,

audience engagement, time management, and ability to answer the questions raised. Doing

this will allow evaluators to gauge and offer us constructive feedback to help us improve our

project.

4. Team working:

4.1 How did you feel working as a team with people?

Cooperating with my associates was a fulfilling and affirmative involvement. My

comprehension, abilities, and valuation of teamwork were improved. Diverse perspectives

within our team helped us achieve success by facilitating effective communication and

providing support and motivation that made the journey enjoyable.

4.2 What was your role in the team?

My role in the team was project manager. The management duties and responsibilities

which fell under my purview involved orchestrating the intricate ballet of schedules, tasks,

and timelines to guarantee the successful culmination of our collective efforts as a team.

Through meticulous oversight and fine-tuning the meshing gears of planning,

implementation, and synchronization, I steered our project to fruition. I ensured we remained

aligned with the projected trajectory and end goals.

4.3 Were you clear about the targets, project, or your role?

As a project manager, I knew my roles, targets, and project objectives. This helped me to

maintain clarity in team projects by setting project goals, individual goals, and clear targets,

which aided our team members in contributing to project success.

5. Self-reflection

5.1 Were you confident approaching the project?

I was confident in approaching this project because all members understood the scope and

objective of the project, which was easy to deal with. Clarity is the key aspect that gave me

confidence since I had a clear understanding of what projects must be completed.

5.2 What would have prepared you better for the project?

Familiarization is one of the key elements that could have prepared us for the project. At

first, members needed to become more familiar with the context and relevant practices
governing the project domain. Inadequate knowledge of the project domain will contribute to

poor research on the project.

5.3 What did you learn that would enhance your understanding of the project or

employability?

Possessing domain knowledge is the key aspect of project success. It is beneficial for

your comprehension and job prospects to acquire extensive knowledge of the project's topic

and the related industry. Showing your expertise by gaining knowledge in a specific domain

could make you an asset in related industries or roles.

5.4 How could you use the Professional challenge for Personal Development?

I will use professional challenges to build resilience. Obstacles and setbacks frequently

accompany challenges; thus, taking advantage of professional challenges to cultivate

resilience and establish coping strategies for overcoming obstacles is important. This will

help me keep a positive attitude towards life's obstacles by considering them learning

experiences and being open-minded and ready to adapt when faced with change or

unforeseen events.

6. Please complete the table below to state what percentage you think each team member

contributed to the tasks. The total should be 100.
