Not being able to convey an
overall message or failing a
symbolism.
For this production, I need to
do lots of topic research,
meaning I might miss out on
time.
Before, I have had lots of
troubles relating my test
shoots to my final production.
Some of the previous
productions that I have
created, I have had lots of
problems casting the right
people, especially of
different ages.
HOW TO FIX FACED DIDN’T FACE
It important to keep these
messages in mind to bring
into scripting and visual
effects. Balancing artistic
vison with practical
consideration.
Instead of doing lots of
tiny topics, I could pick
the main ones and research
very deeply into that, and
then do more after if I
have more time.
I could pick lots of
different test shoots that
I know for definite that I
will use, perhaps some
simpler editing skills.
To fix this, I could pre-
plan and start asking
around different peers or
even theatre groups. As I
need good actors for my
production, I will complete
auditions to make sure I
find the right fits for all
of my roles.
PRACTICAL
My production is not able to
be posted on YouTube due to
copyright guidelines.
Not being able to get
locations for my production.
Issues with actors or time
management.
Equipment malfunctions. For
example, travelling out to a
set and cameras running out
of battery.
In past productions, it has
taken me an extended amount
of time to edit, which
resulted in me having much
less time for the remaining
tasks.
HOW TO FIX FACED DIDN’T FACE
If it is because of music,
I could research to find
copywrite-free music, or
even make my own.
If this is a problem, I
can contact a variety of
places and if that does
not work, I could ask
around and stick to places
that I know for definite
that I have access to,
perhaps twisting my story
slightly.
Make sure to tell my
actors to book out time
and have a variety of
dates that they are
available in case there is
a cancellation or reshoots
are needed.
Make sure to bring back up
batteries and chargers for
all cameras to prevent
this.
Pre-plan, if I know it
will take me a while to do
a specific part, I will
leave more time for it.
This means that I can
properly balance my time
which would be helpful.
