The objectives are to contain and control the emergency, safeguard personnel and minimize the damage
to the environment and asset of the company.
1.2 Implementation
In the event of a major emergency, this plan should be implemented and the company shall immediately
involve the Managers, Supervisors and Technical experts from within BTI external specialists.
The “BTI Emergency Team” shall be fully activated in an emergency.

4.0 Emergency Fire Response Plan
1. Notification to evacuate will be by fire alarm bell (intermittent ringing), by intercom system and
by word of mouth.
2. The Complex Coordinator will be the overall in-charge of the entire operation. Personnel
will follow instructions of the Complex Coordinator or Assistant Complex Coordinator.
3. Initial evacuation will be to the assembly point area. The assembly point area is indicated by a
sign posted adjacent to the BTI Work area car park.
4. Emergency evacuation shall be accomplished as quickly as possible in an efficient and orderly
manner.
5. A roll call will then be conducted at the assembly area by Data Logger.
6. The Complex Coordinator shall evaluate immediate response options:
6a. If immediate control is NOT possible:
Notify Emergency services such as Fire and Police departments.
6b. If immediate control is possible:
Attempt emergency control and recovery of missing personnel.
7. The Assistant Complex Coordinator will check all rooms to ensure that all personnel are out
of the main office building, workshop/warehouse offices, toilets and then proceed to the
assembly area.

1. The injured shall immediately report the incident to his immediate Supervisor or to the
location First Aider.
2. The First Aider shall assess the injury or illness and execute appropriate first aid
actions.
3. Continuously re-assure the injured/sick person by talking to him and keeping him
warm.
4. For critical injury/illnesses, immediately call for medical assistance an/or ambulance.
5. For non-critical injury/illnesses, send the personnel together to nearest Hospital for
check-up.
6. As soon as the injured/sick person is secured, initiate investigation and prepare the
incident/accident report.
