INT. CONTROL ROOM - DAY
 
FADE IN:
 
Sitting at a control station, a MAN (20's) wearing
headphones, dramatically grooves to melodies of his music,
in a manner that no grown man should.
 
This goes on for a few beats.
 
Two black gloved hands simultaneously grab the top of man's
head, and the bottom of his chin.
 
Man's eyes widen, as his jaw drops in shock.
 
CRACK!
 
The poor soul's neck is snapped sideways.
 
As a result; he drops to the floor from his chair.
 
BOOM.
 
The culprit is CHRIS (20's). His face expression is blank
and remorseless.
 
Behind him is a flabbergasted DEX (20's).
 
DEX
Dude!! what's your problem!? We
weren't supposed to kill anybody!
 
Chris slowly around turns to face Dex.
 
CHRIS
Oh shut up... He's in a better
place now.
(snickers)
Dex shakes head in disgust,
breathless.
 
Chris turns back around.
 
He pulls out phone and dials numbers.
 
He places one hand on table, hunches over computer.
 
RING... (on loud speaker)
 
An intriguing (fidget spinner looking) device, rests on a
small pedestal, on top of control station table.
 
RING...
 
Chris picks up device. Grins at it satisfyingly.

CUT TO:
 
 
INT. VAN - DAY
 
JOSH (20's) sits waiting in driver's seat, next to KEN
(20's) who is slouched in passengers seat.
 
RING...
 
Josh speaks into his phone.
 
JOSH
Hello.
 
CUT BACK TO:
 
 
INT. CONTROL ROOM - DAY
 
CHRIS
(into phone)
Yooo, we're in... now the little
nerd can do his thang.
 
He looks over at Dex, who is having a nervous break down.
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. VAN - DAY
 
JOSH
Alright, awesome! But uhhh, what'd
you guys do with the engineer of
the control room?
 
CHRIS
Nothin', there was like no one
here when we got inside.
 
Chris looks down at dead man,
 
Then at Dex, giving him a smirk.
 
Dex scowls (panting).
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. VAN - DAY

JOSH
What?? are you serious? there's
supposed to be someone in that
control room at all times.
 
Ken looks over in Josh's direction, suspiciously.
 
CUT BACK TO:
 
 
INT. CONTROL ROOM
 
CHRIS
Yeah I don't know... It's so
weird.
 
Dex notices a gun handle sticking out from Chris's pants.
 
Dex hastily steals it,
 
Fumbles with weapon to gain control. Obviously, he's never
used a gun.
 
Aims it at Chris, unsteady.
 
Chris turns to face Dex.
 
He nonchalantly raises both hands up, still holding phone
and device.
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
(calmly)
Aye what's wrong with your boy,
josh? He just pulled a gun out on
me.
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. VAN - DAY
 
JOSH
He pulled what out?! Hello?
 
Ken secretly pulls cord out, from a machine behind his
seat.
 
STATIC NOISE comes from Josh's phone.
 
JOSH (CONT'D)
Hell-
 
Josh slams phone on steering wheel, and raises it back up.

JOSH (CONT'D)
He pulled what out?!! Hello can
you hear me?!
(smacks teeth)
Oh my Go-
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. CONTROL ROOM - DAY
 
CHRIS
(laughs)
Congratulations, you finally have
a spine for once.
 
DEX
Josh should've never trusted you!
you can't keep doing whatever you
want! Killing people; constantly
calling me a nerd, I'm tired of
it! I'm tired of it all! You were
never on the same page as us.
 
CHRIS
So what are you gonna do? Shoot
me?... Do you even know how to use
that thing?
 
DEX
 
Chris gives a condescending look.
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. VAN - DAY
 
Josh speaks into phone, utterly confused.
 
JOSH
Hello? Hello?
(turns to Ken)
Bro we lost connection!
 
KEN
(suspiciously)
Well then? That doesn't sound
good, we should.... we should go
help em'.
 
JOSH
Why you so nonchalant wit it bro?
Dang.

CUT TO:
 
 
EXT. OUTSIDE - DAY
 
They both simultaneously get out of van, and they close
their doors.
 
Josh rambles on, about why they shouldn't have to go
through such a hassle. Oblivious to the fact that ken is
closing in on him to-
 
Ken strikes Josh's neck in mid sentence, knocking him down.
 
FADE TO BLACK:
 
 
INT. GARAGE - DAY
 
Josh is tied up in a chair unconscious.
 
DEX (O.S)
(as he kicks Josh's
chair.)
Josh.. Josh..... Josh...!!
 
Josh SCREAMS hysterically and snaps into conciousness.
 
He looks around garage dramatically, panicked.
 
Dex is tied up in a chair also.
 
JOSH
Why do you keep calling my name!
 
DEX
It was chris and Ken, they
double-crossed us!
 
JOSH
ok you know what bro, you really
stating the obvious right now, ok
I see that, that happened, but
lets address the elephant in the
room... who is this!?
 
Josh points with his head to reveal... a RANDOM GUY tied up
in a chair.
 
Random Guy just sits there silent, scared look on his face.

DEX
Josh... I don't know... I've been
trying to figure that out for the
past hour and a half, but he
hasn't spoken a single word, he...
he's just been.... sitting there!
 
RANDOM GUY
(breathes heavily)
Please, who are you people?? Don't
hurt me... don't hurt me! I have a
Dog! I have a Dog!! Who will take
care of him after I'm gone! Tell
me, look into my eyes and tell me
if you would strip little Buster
of his daddy!
 
JOSH & DEX
(together)
What?? No! we didn't do this to
you!
 
RANDOM GUY
I didn't do anything wrong! I
don't deserve this!
 
JOSH
Bro, we didn't put you here! We're
tied up too!
 
DEX
Yes, please. Think about the logic
of that.
 
We hear a door SLAM off screen. FOOTSTEPS heard approaching
closer and closer to helpless three.
 
RANDOM GUY
They're the guys! They're the guys
you're working with!
(cries hoplessly)
 
Josh and Dex are Distraught.
 
JOSH
Chris? Ken? what is all this??
 
Chris and Ken amble up behind Random Guy's chair.
 
Chris taps Random Guy on his shoulder with a gun.
 
RANDOM GUY
(crying)
Ohhhhh Gooooood. ahhhh, noooooo.

Dex looks perturbed.
 
Chris pulls out teleportation device, making it WHIRL.
 
Chris leans in close to Random Guy.
 
CHRIS
See me and Ken just didn't agree
that finding a treasure like this
baby was worth simply using it
just to help humanity.
 
Random Guy whimpers pathetically.
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
(whispers)
Shut up... Shut up...
 
RANDOM GUY
(frightened)
Ok... ok....
 
Ken snickers.
 
CHRIS
A device that can teleport you
anywhere that you want, whenever
you want? you gotta be kidding me.
 
KEN
Think about all the banks we could
rob so easily.
 
CHRIS
Ha, no no no, you think to small
my friend. think about the power
we could have. we could rule the
world.
 
JOSH
We agreed that we would use it to
help bring food to starving people
and care for the sick. we were
gonna change the world, Chris!
 
CHRIS
Oh, we're still gonna change the
world, it's just that are way is
better....
 
Chris (while speaking) strolls around circle of victims, to
Josh.

CHRIS (CONT'D)
Now, since you two are the only
ones that know how to activate the
teleportation device... Ima need
you to activate the teleportation
device.
 
JOSH
well you're right, us two, are the
only ones who know how to activate
it. But, one plus one isn't three.
who is this?!
 
Random Guy looks fearful, as Ken stands behind him.
 
CHRIS
I don't know, Ken found him.
(looks at Ken)
where'd you find him ken?
 
KEN
Is it important?
 
CHRIS
No, not Really.
 
KEN
(smiles creepily)
Then it doesn't matter.
 
Ken rubs on Random Guy, making him cry a little.
 
Chris ambles over to Random Guy (while speaking).
 
CHRIS
You have a point! See this my
friend, is just a ramdom guy. he's
here for insurance purposes.
(puts gun to random
guy's head)
Give us the code or he dies.
 
Random Guy panics in terror.
 
DEX
Fine!!! Fine!! you win!! Just put
the gun down, please, don't hurt
him! the code is 605-475-6968
 
Josh looks at Dex astonishingly.
 
CHRIS
Beautiful.

Chris puts his hand over the device to type in code, but
stops himself.
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
uh, Ken? Why don't you have the
honor in typing in the code?
 
KEN
Really?
 
CHRIS
Yeah...
 
Chris hands device to ken.
 
KEN
Um, ok?
(repeats back as he
TYPES)
605-475-6968. There.
 
Device rapidly SPINS, making a low BEEPING sound.
 
Ken gazes at device.
 
ELECTRICITY shakes Ken uncontrollably,
 
Sending him straight into the concrete. THUMP!
 
Chris stares down at Ken calmly.
 
Chris COCKS his gun.
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. GARAGE - DEX P.O.V
 
Panicked voices fill up garage simultaneously.
 
RANDOM GUY
Nooo! now im going to die you
jerk! Buster!!!!!!!!
 
DEX
Ok! Ok! No! No! I'll give you the
right code! I'm sorry!
 
Chris aims his gun at Random Guy as if he were about to
shoot him, but then switches it to Dex instead-
 
He immediately SHOOTS Dex without thinking twice about it.
 
CUT BACK TO:
 10.

INT. GARAGE - DAY
 
Dex's head violently flies backward from impact.
 
Josh gasps, speechless.
 
RANDOM GUY
(panting)
Oh my God! Thank you! Thank You
for not killing me!!!
(laughs in relief)
 
Chris FIRES a bullet through Random Guy's skull.
 
Josh stares shocked, jaw dropped.
 
He switches his gaze to see Dex, dead.
 
JOSH
Dex!!!!!
(pants heavily)
You monster!
 
CHRIS
(sinister)
What? he's in a better place.
 
Chris sporadically drops his calm demeanor,
 
He strides over to Josh and BASHES his face with gun.
 
JOSH
Urrhhhh!
 
Chris proceeds to brutally PUMMEL Josh with his weapon.
 
Josh struggles to maintain himself from vicious blows.
 
Chris FLIPS out POCKET KNIFE.
 
Raises knife as if he were going to cut Josh, but-
 
SLICES through rope, freeing him instead.
 
Josh slumps from his chair onto HARD floor. Grunts.
 
Chris snatches transportation device from dead Ken,
 
And chucks it at Josh's body (still on floor).
 
Device bounces off Josh's back onto ground.
 
Chris aims gun at Josh.

He throws knife away in order to hold gun with both hands,
 
Steps in closer.
 
CHRIS
See what you made me do?!
(gestures to all dead
bodies in garage)
So no more games!! Just put the
code in... now!!!
 
Josh trembles up off the concrete, while recovering device.
 
Fury, pain, and sorrow... written on his face.
 
Reluctantly TYPES code into device.
 
Chris and Josh stare each other down intensely.
 
A ROBOTIC VOICE speaks from device-
 
DEVICE
(robotic)
Teleportation sequence activated.
 
Josh surprises Chris, by abruptly kicking his gun from his
hands.
 
Josh PRESSES another device button.
 
DEVICE (CONT'D)
(robotic)
Starting teleportation. All party
members in range of field, will be
teleported. Initiating...
 
Device makes high BEEPING sound.
 
CHRIS
Oh, hell no!
 
Chris dives into Josh and--
 
WHOOSH!
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. HALLWAY - DAY
 
--tackles him. They both SLAM into ground.
 
Device flies out Josh's hand and HITS floor.

DEVICE
(robotic glitchy)
Starting teleportation, starting
teleportation, starting
teleportation..... Errroooorr
 
Device BEEPS rapidly.
 
CHRIS
You broke it, you mother f-
 
Josh shoves Chris off him.
 
Lunges for device and grabs it.
 
Chris grips onto Josh's leg.
 
WHOOSH!
 
CUT TO:
 
 
EXT. GRASSY AREA - DAY
 
Josh lurches to his feet, device in hand.
 
He backs away from chris.
 
Chris slowly pulls himself up.
 
CHRIS
(adamant)
I want that treasure...
 
------------------FIGHT SEQUENCE 1--------------
 
Chris Sees device in Josh's hand.
 
Sprints toward it.
 
Chris shoots his (right) hand out, to steal device from
Josh's (right) hand-
 
But Josh evades, forcing Chris to elbow Josh with his very
same arm that attempted to steal the device initially.
 
This causes Josh to topple over, making the device soar out
into broad open.
 
They both race toward isolated device, but Josh (crawling)
elbows above him, thrashing Chris's head.
 
Josh snatches up device in midst of action,
 
He swiftly climbs to his feet, puts device in his pocket.
 13.

Chris staggers back, holding head in pain.
 
He slowly drops his hands down, and glares at Josh a few
seconds.
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
What? you thought I was gonna say
somethin' corny!? I said I want
that-
 
Josh SLUGS Chris's face before he can finish.
 
Chris throws a punch back, and Josh throws a punch. Two
fist going for each other at the same time, but before they
can connect--
 
BEEPING. WHOOSH!
 
CUT TO:
 
 
EXT. STREET - DAY
 
------------------FIGHT SEQUENCE 2---------------
 
--Chris and Josh are somehow literally back to back, in
their fighting stances.
 
They look back at one another, baffled.
 
Chris spins around and kicks with (right) leg.
 
Josh turns in time to block (both hands).
 
Chris punches with (right) arm, pounding into Josh's
stomach.
 
Josh folds over grabbing his stomach... Ouch!
 
Chris takes this opportunity to do a backwards sweep with
(right) leg, dropping Josh on his back.
 
Chris comes up and raises his (right) leg vertically to
stomp down on Josh,
 
He stomps down, but-
 
Josh rolls out of harm's way, into a stance.
 
Josh sprints toward Chris and pummels him in his chest a
few times.
 
Chris retaliates, punches to Josh's chest with (right) arm-

Josh catches punch in between (left) elbow crease before
contact and brings it downward!!
 
Josh punches (right) to Chris's face while still having
hold of Chris in his other arm-
 
Chris blocks with (left) arm.
 
Chris (right) knees Josh in his stomach,
 
Knocking him over, causing the device to fly out his
pocket.
 
Josh kicks up from ground, into ready position.
 
They both dive for device, and grab it at the same time.
 
BEEPING. WHOOSH!
 
CUT TO:
 
 
INT. STRANGER'S BATHROOM - DAY
 
Chris and Josh teleport randomly in a STRANGER'S (20's)
bathroom, both still having hold of device.
 
As they tussle with one another, Stranger screams and
hollers with his pants down, sitting on the toilet.
 
Chris and Josh clap their hands over their noses, gagging,
still attempting to wrangle each other.
 
BEEPING. WHOOSH!
 
CUT TO:
 
 
EXT. PARK - DAY
 
Chris and Josh desperately gasp for air.
 
Stranger is there too? He gets up stumbling, pants down.
 
STRANGER
What?! What just happened!? where
am I??!
 
He runs away shrieking, struggling to keep pants up.
 
Chris and Josh ignore him, too focused on one another.
 
Chris arrogantly reveals he has possession of device.

CHRIS
(chuckles)
Finally! I have to admit I was
getting a little worried.
 
Josh is furious.
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
(mocking)
Oooohhh wooow. This is weird to
see you like this. I'm... I'm
impressed.
 
JOSH
Why'd you have to do this!!?
 
CHRIS
Didn't I explain that already?
 
JOSH
You murdered Dex!
 
CHRIS
Hey? why am I the bad guy? He
killed Ken...
 
JOSH
To protect an innocent person,
that you, dragged into all this!
What's wrong with you!? This isn't
what we're about!
 
CHRIS
No! this isn't what you're about.
The fact that you even care makes
you weak.
 
JOSH
The fact that I care is my
strength.
 
Josh proudly rises to his feet.
 
Chris bursts into laughter.
 
CHRIS
(mocking)
The fact that you care is your
strength??? Oh come on, it's just
me here!
 
JOSH
You wouldn't understand...
 
Chris slowly drops his smile.

JOSH (CONT'D)
You're only weak when you let
those who don't care... change you
into not caring either.
 
Almost as if he knew Josh was right, Chris slightly turns
his head away-
 
But quickly focuses back on Josh, hate in his eyes.
 
CHRIS
I don't know what you're talking
about!
 
Device makes high BEEPING noise...
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
(smiles)
Ohh, here we go again.
 
But the sound dies out before any "whoosh" happens.
 
DEVICE
Errrrrror.
 
CHRIS
(panics)
What?! No!!!!
 
He anxiously slaps and shakes device, giving everything to
make it work.
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
No! no! no! no! no! nooooooo!
Rahhhh!!
 
Frustrated, He hurls the device away.
 
Pauses for a few beats, gazing down at ground.
 
Looks up at Josh.
 
CHEIS
(grumbles)
I was only keeping you alive so
you could put in that code...
 
JOSH
I can't let you hurt anymore
people.
 
CHRIS
That doesn't make sense... because
you just volunteered.
 17.

Pause.
 
-------------------FIGHT SEQUENCE 3--------------
 
Josh and Chris are like two starving sharks in water,
circling around each other ready to make a kill.
 
Synchronized, they both stop cold in their tracks.
 
Chris acts first! He throws a (right) punch to Josh's face-
 
But Josh blocks with (left) hand.
 
Chris instantly swings around and does a reverse hook kick
on Josh,
 
Causing him to spin in mid air and hit the ground.
 
Josh immediately recovers himself and stumbles back a
little. He gives a "what just happened" look.
 
Chris saunters up to Josh, smirking with pride.
 
Josh throws a lightning fast (right) hook to Chris cheek,
forcing his head to twist away.
 
Chris turns his head back to Josh, he's shocked...
 
He throws a powerful (right) hook to Josh's cheek as well,
causing the same exact head twist that happened to him,
happen to Josh...
 
Josh turns his head back to Chris, he's irritated.
 
Josh (right) hooks to Chris's cheek again, but this time-
 
Chris ducks down under it and,
 
Sweeps with his (right) leg.
 
Josh hops over attack.
 
Chris rises up and (right) punches, straight for Josh's
nose, but-
 
Josh evades punch by rolling to (left) side,
 
He glides around Chris's back; to meet him with a (right)
fist meant for his stomach, but-
 
Chris blocks with (left) underhand and,
 
Socks Josh's chest with (right) hand.
 
Josh staggers backward from blow.
 18.

Chris steps, and (left) kicks Josh's side but-
 
Josh catches his leg and keeps hold of it-
 
Regardless, Chris uses his remaining free (right) leg to
kick Josh in mid air, with enough force to drive him down
into the ground.
 
Chris falls also, but finesses up into a stance.
 
Josh lays rocking side to side, holding aching arm.
 
Chris rushes over and (right) kicks Josh's stomach, making
him wince.
 
Chris uses both hands to clutch onto Josh's shirt,
 
And yanks him up off the ground.
 
Chris keeps his grasp on Josh as he harshly pounds his
knuckles into his gut, 1.. 2.. 3.. times.
 
Chris relentlessly hurls Josh face down in the dirt.
 
Chris (left hand) grabs onto Josh's (right) shoulder and
flips him over-
 
But gets a SURPRISE backhand to his face, from Josh!
 
Chris grabs his red face, upset. Seem familiar?
 
Josh scrambles up on foot.
 
Chris fires a (left) kick at Josh but-
 
He leaps over it and dives into a roll; that turns into a
perfect stance. Woah!
 
<Josh charges at chris and throws a left and right hook
while running, both of which chris evades while he
gracefully moves backwards.>
 
Josh (right) hooks to Chris's face-
 
Chris blocks with (left) wrist.
 
Chris (right) punches to Josh's face-
 
Josh brings his (left) arm up vertically, and blocks it.
 
Josh (right) punches to chris's stomach-
 
Chris uses (left) underhand to block.
 
Chris (right) punches to Josh's face-

Josh eludes (right) and,
 
Follows with a sharp (right) uppercut, that flies up from
between the two fighters-
 
Chris takes blow, and stumbles backward.
 
He regains his balance and goes in back for more.
 
Chris (right) kicks at josh's side torso-
 
Josh blocks (both hands).
 
Josh (right) kicks at Chris's side torso-
 
Chris blocks (both hands) also.
 
Chris uses his (right) foot to kick straight up-
 
Josh uses (right) hand to block it down and,
 
Follows with a quick (left) jab to Chris's stomach.
 
Chris staggers back holding his belly. Josh got him good!
 
Josh wastes no time and kicks with his (right) leg to knock
chris's head off, but-
 
Chris ducks out of danger, just in time!
 
Chris gains control again,
 
<And (right) hooks twice.
 
Josh elbow blocks both punches.>
 
Josh (right) hooks to chris's face.
 
Chris dodges (left).
 
Chris (right) hooks to Josh's face.
 
Josh eludes (left) and,
 
Brings up that wild uppercut again! striking chris once
more!
 
As chris stumbles backward,
 
Josh springs up into the air, and kicks Chris dead in his
chest!!! *Replay*
 
Chris plummets into the ground...
 
Josh trudges over to Chris's body,
 20.

And examines.
 
Chris is unconscious.
 
Josh squints at him.
 
Chris isn't unconcious!!!! His eyes blast open, with total
fury!
 
Josh panics by (right) punching down at chris, but-
 
Chris catches Josh's arm, and (right) kicks into his side.
 
Josh collapses over,
 
And Chris speedily gets up, to stand over him.
 
<Chris repeatedly pummels Josh in his face.
 
Chris is remorseless! hasn't Josh had enough??>
 
Chris snatches Josh up,
 
And drives his back into a wall.
 
Chris (right) hooks Josh's face,
 
(left) hooks,
 
(right) hook,
 
(left) punches his stomach.
 
(right) hook,
 
(left) hook-
 
Josh falls to his hands and knees.
 
Chris seizes Josh by his flat-top,
 
And lifts his head up to reveal-
 
Josh in pain....
 
Chris cocks his arm back for one last final blow.
 
He fires his punch, but-
 
Josh catches Chris's fist with his left hand!!!!!
 
He grabs Chris's arm with (right) hand,
 
And throws him onto the ground.
 21.

Still having hold of Chris's arm, Josh twists over him,
 
And SNAPS it backwards.
 
Chris lets out a horrible scream of anguish.
 
Josh releases his arm,
 
It FALLS lifelessly.
 
Josh turns away from Chris, trudges toward sunlight...
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
You think this is over!!?? I'll
still kill you with one arm!
 
Josh halts. Turns around, and trudges back toward Chris...
 
CHRIS (CONT'D)
I'll never stop until your dead!!
do you hear me!!?? Do you hear
me!!!!!!?????
 
Josh arrives next to Chris again.
 
He stares down at him empathetically for a few moments.
Chris seems near pathetic, struggling.
 
Chris finds the strength to almost get up, but-
 
Josh uses his foot to push him over on his back,
 
He twists around Chris's only good arm, SNAPS it backwards.
 
Chris hollers like never before!
 
Josh lets it go.
 
It DROPS, stiff.
 
Is Chris about to cry? He lays there, as broken as his
arms...
 
CUT TO DRONE SHOT:
 
 
EXT. PARK - DRONE SHOT
 
Josh lifts Chris's torso up off the ground, so he can wrap
both arms around his head, from behind.
 
Camera flies up to where we can no longer see what's about
to happen...
 
But we hear a loud CRACK.

Camera points downward, shows Josh letting go of a dead
Chris.
 
Camera continues to fly higher and higher, spinning, as
 
CREDITS ROLL.
