Courage
Strength
Resolution is combo of Toughness, Armour and Willpower. Score needed to survive a hit
Courage
Strength is raw physical prowess, used for melee and physical feats.
New actions
Defensive. Allows for a 6” move or shot at -1 to hit, whilst gaining a -1 cover bonus
Assault phase.
Both attacking and defending units fire simultaneously, taking into account any pins
If neither side is destroyed, the attacking unit moves to within base contact of the defending unit.
Pair off attackers and defenders, allocating the larger force evenly.
D10 plus strength of the attacker vs d10 vs Res of defender, if attack score is higher, the defender is
killed
At the end of the round of fighting, each side takes a morale test. D10+Pins
For every point the morale roll is higher than the courage, the unit suffers a casualty.
If a score of 10 or higher is reached, the entire unit is destroyed
The surviving unit then regains D6-2 casualties back up to its original unit maximum.
The victorious unit retains all pins and will most likely need to rally next turn
Shooting phase
A rifle will hit on the firer’s accuracy score or lower with modifiers
If a shot hits, the enemy takes a resolution test minus the weapons strike value
e.g. a troop with a res 6 would need a 5 or lower to survive a Sv1 shot and a 4 or lower to survive a
sv 2 shot
Leaders
A leader is able to reroll any failed Res tests allocated to him. Not that if the reroll is failed, it is the
leader that’s killed
All forces contain a commander and a supporting leader. The supporting leader confers +1 morale,
the commander confers the ‘snap to’ ability as detailed in the bolt action rule book
