Welcome everyone to the world of foreign languages, specifically the Spanish language. I have

dedicated a lot of work into this class, and I expect each and everyone of you to really dedicate

time and effort into learning this beautiful language. I want this to be an exciting school year.

No matter if this is your first year in this class or your last year in this class. There is a lot of

standards we must meet before this school year ends, and much more of the language to

learn.

Weeks Objectives:

Every single Monday we as a class we discuss all of the objectives that must be met before

Friday due dates. All written assignments must be turned in by the end of the class period to

their given class period portfolios every single Friday. We will have a class website in which all

students will have to visit to complete article reviews, news responses, and group discussion

boards. The article reviews, and news responses will be due by midnight on Tuesdays, and

group discussion boards will be due by midnight on Thursdays.

Class Notifications:

Class notifications will also be updated every Friday on our website. This is an action I have put

fourth to help my students, and their parents be up to date on all task that were completed

throughout the week. The class notifications will also show upcoming projects, essays, and

test to keep everyone on track.

Grading System:

I will be updating the classes grades weekly in my grade book; in that regard all students who

are showing they are struggling midway through the quarter, I will be sitting down with you to

discuss these matters. I will also be contacting those parents of the student before completing
that step to notify them of the current situation . Every quarter report cards will be sent out to

parents.

A: 100-90

B: 89-80

C: 79-70

D: 69-60

F: 60-Below

*The Idaho State Common Core Standards will be implemented in all subjects
