INTERVIEW TO LUCÍA FRESCO

"THIS WILL BE A GREAT YEAR
FOR ARGENTINA"
-Let´s get the basic questions, Lucía. How old
are you and where are you from?
-I´m 26 years old and I´m from Chanjarí,
Argentina.
-How is your family composed?
-I have my 12-year-old sister named Roberta
who plays on her own team and my aunt who
was a legend in this sport called Clara.
-What is your height?
-An average year ago 1,95 now I have no idea
and yes, I look like a giraffe.
-What is your favourite film or TV series?
-“Prision Break” and “Lie to me”, I love it.
-Do you like reading?
-I like it, my favorite book is “Heroes y tumbas”
of Ernesto Sábato.
-Well, how did you begin to play?
-When I was 11 years old, I want to begin
basquetball but in my city there wasn´t
female, so I decided to try volleyball, but
actually I liked all sports.
-Do you have any idol in this sport?

known as, "La Rusa" 
(The Russian). She is
an Argentinian
volleyball player. She
is playing from check
positions and she
wears the jersey n° 5
at the National Team,
and n° 12 in BRSE
Club. Her current club
is Békéscsabai RSE.
-No, I don´t have any idol, but I like many
players especially attackers such as Gamova
or the American Destinitee Hooker.
-Which was your greatest success until this
moment?
-I think that my greatest success was with
my club Boca Juniors, that won the Liga
Argentina 2010/11.
-What are your best virtues as a player?
-My coach always tell me joking that if I don
´t attack I can´t to be on the court, so I think
that the attack must be one of my strongest.
-What does it mean for you to defend the
colors of the national team?
-I think that represent Argentina is always
apride, I think that many girls would like to
be in my place to be able to defend my flag
and I am sure I play for those people too.
-And finally, do you have scheduled trips for
this year?
-Of course, we are going to Santa Fe,
between rivers and Colombia, Brazil will be
great.
