Activation deactivation

• The A/THR is activated :


– By pressing the A/THR pushbutton on the FCU, provided thrust
levers are in the A/THR active range.
– By setting thrust levers back into A/THR active range.

• The A/THR is disconnected :


– By bringing all thrust levers to IDLE.
– By pressing the instinctive pushbuttons :

• Active range of A/THR : between IDLE & CLIMB (all IDLE


engines operative).

A/THR logic

The EPR command (calculated by the FMGS) varies between idle and the
thrust corresponding to the actual position of the levers.
The lever position do not necessarily represents the engine
thrust delivered.
