Solve the exercises:

1.) A golf player struck a ball so that it gained a velocity of 10 m/s at an angle of 37 o with the field. Find the
maximum height that the ball would reach and the range of the ball.
2.) A force of 20 N is applied to an object with the mass m = 4 kg, as shown on the figure bellow. Find the
acceleration of the object if the angle Θ is 30o and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the object and
the surface is 0,25.

3.) A 100 kg load is placed on a 40 kg stretcher to be carried by two persons. The stretcher is 2m long and
the load is placed 0,6m from the left end. How much force must each person exert to carry the stretcher?

4.) A 2kg object is pushed at a velocity 15 m/s on a rough surface. The coefficient of kinetic friction between
the object and the surface is 0,4. How far does the object go before its velocity decreases to 5 m/s?

(use your knowledge about energy and work done by a force to solve the exercise)

5.) Two objects m1 = 2 kg, moving with the speed 4 m/s, and m2 = 6 kg, moving with the speed 2 m/s, are
moving in opposite directions on a smooth horizontal plane. The objects undergo an inelastic collision. What
is the common velocity of the objects after the collision?
