    The Young Regulator Co. model 4020 are power open or power close, spring return dampers designed for temperature control, zone control and outside air applications. They have a pressure rating of 2" W.C. and velocity rating of 1,500 CFM at temperatures between 20-125°F. Standard construction includes 20 gauge galvanized steel frame and blade with oil impregnated bronze bushings and a 1/2" diameter steel shaft. The actuator provides 35 in-lb torque and is either 24V spring return or 120V spring return with powered times of <50 seconds and spring return of <26 seconds. Sizes range from a minimum of 4" to a maximum of 24" diameter.

    Application and Design

    The Young Regulator Co. model 4020 motorized dampers are power open or power close, spring return. They are
    designed especially for use in temperature control, zone control and outside air applications, but can be used to
    control airflow in any system duct.
