Electrical Field Construction Coordinator Intern | May through August 2018
 Acted as an electrical consultant to supervisors and field personnel in the areas of expertise for
transmission lines, inter-connect systems, switchgear installations, electrical circuits, power quality, and
high voltage collection/distribution systems.
 Reviewed bid packages for accuracy, completeness, and electrical scope for electrical subcontractors and
BEI electrical personnel.
 Collaborated with the electrical Superintendent, field engineer, and subcontractors for immediate review
of electrical information and any changes to the job.
 Participated in weekly meeting with electrical engineers, electrical subcontractors, owner (SME's) and
utility interconnect personnel. Bring information forward that may impede design or construction.
 Assisted with supervision of all projects electrical subcontractors, electrical engineers to ensure effective
use of project resources as well as industry processes.
 Supported the electrical superintendent in establishing the project electrical budget (Engineering,
Construction, and Interconnect.) Assisted electrical superintendent in expediting change orders and

Iowa State Interfraternity Council (IFC)

 Lead the IFC executive board and help manage a $120,000 budget to provide educational, organizational
programming and leadership opportunities for 29 chapters.
 Collaborate with student organization leaders and student government to ensure success and
representation for all IFC chapters.
 Represent Interfraternity chapters on Iowa State’s Campus by improving the relationship between the
University, the Ames Community, and the Greek Community.
 Responsible for registering the Interfraternity Council as a student organization with the Student Activities
Center and ensuring that the Interfraternity Council Bylaws and Constitution meet the outcomes of the
Student Organizations Recognition Policy.
 Serve as a resource to all chapter presidents.
 President when Iowa State IFC Council was recognized as one of the top 2018 IFC councils in the nation.
