Sub:- Endowments Department – Enhancement of financial limits to

sub-ordinate officers for confirmation of sale of movables by way of
public auction and delegation of powers to approve tenders for
procurement of various items in the respective Endowments

In this office reference cited, powers were delegated to the sub-
ordinate officers for confirmation of sale of movables in the respective
Endowments Institutions as a part of decentralization of powers as detailed
below:
Sale value of the Authority to confirm the sale
movable properties
Up to Rs:.25000/- Budget sanctioning authority of the respective
institution & A.D.C. in case of major temples.
Rs:.25,001/- to Additional Commissioner for all institutions
Rs:.50,000/- including major temples
Rs:.50,001/- & Above Commissioner for all institutions irrespective of
category.

With an objective to strengthen the hands of the sub-ordinate officers,

for timely disposal of files and in view of administrative convenience, it is
considered necessary to enhance the above financial limits with reference to
the current trends since the existing limits are very less when compared to
the present bidding amounts.
Hence, in exercise of the powers vested u/s 8 of the APC & HRI &
Endowments Act 30 of 1987, the Commissioner, Endowments Department,
Andhra Pradesh, Amaravathi has been pleased to enhanced above financial
limits for confirmation of sale of movables by way of public auction in the
respective Endowments Institutions as detailed below:

As a part of decentralization of powers and for the purpose of

administrative convenience, it is also considered necessary to delegate
powers to the sub-ordinate officers for approval of tenders for procurement
of various items in the respective Endowments Institutions.
Hence, in exercise of the powers vested in her u/s 8 of the APC & HRI
& Endowments Act 30 of 1987, the Commissioner, Endowments
Department, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravathi hereby delegates the powers to
the sub-ordinate officers for approval of tenders for procurement of various
items in the respective Endowments Institutions as detailed below:
