As an education students of Naval State University, major in Mathematics for 4

years, we researchers has encountered a number of problems that needs an utmost
attention. Based on the data we’ve gathered, half of the students are not really good in
problem solving skills, 52.94% out of the total number of the students have mastered in
problem solving and half of the students are low in analysing problem solving.
Disregarding the gadgets in classroom, having an interest in the discussion, have an
advance study and practicing on solving the problem could help the students learning.

As we conduct this study, we could help the students to improve their problem
solving skills. We are really concern due to what we’ve found that half of the students
was not really good in problem solving skills.
