for educators 1st Corinthians 2:9

NIV - However, as it is written: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no
human mind has conceived — the things God has prepared for those who love him.


RSV - But, as it is written, What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man
conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.

KJV - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the
heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

LB - That is what is meant by the Scriptures which say that no mere man has ever seen,
heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who love the Lord.

Note to the educator

The song by Mercy Me comes to mind while reading this promise, “I Can Only Imagine.” God’s

ways are so much higher than ours and His thoughts are so much greater than ours. How can
we possibly know what He has in store for His believers. Trying to imagine God’s fulfillment of
His promise will put a big smile on your face. As you walk down the hall, try to imagine God’s
wondrous ways and as you are walking and pondering, don’t be surprised if others wonder

what you are thinking about with the big grin on your face. To God be the Glory.
