Dear Sir,
The Diversion/Modification of Existing 400KV Talcher-Meramundali D/C Line, 400KV Rengali-Indravati
S/C Line & HVDC Earth Electrode Line is being constructed by the POWER GRID CORPORATION
OF INDIA LTD (A Govt of India enterprises).
As per the revised SFQP of powergrid, the following testing of the consumed construction materials is
required as follows.

- Reinforcement Steel (TMT bars):- 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm.(Vizag/SAIL). As per relevant
standards IS – 1786. (TMT 500D)

Physical tests
VII) UltimateTensile Stress
VIII) Yield stress
IX) Percentage of elongation
X) Bend test
XI) Re bend test
XII) Weight test of Re bars.

Sample details :- Sample are collected jointly from site store Parabil .(12mm,16mm,20mm & 25mm,
make: Vizac/SAIL)

Necessary testing charges towards above tests will be deposited by authorised representative of M/S.
MAVIN SWITCHGEARS & CONTROL PVT LTD., who is executing agency.

Lab test report in soft copy to be mailed in mail ID (rlpanda@powergridindia.com) and hard copy to be
sent by postal address as mentioned below.
