1. Hallmarks Individuals Nominees
• The chapter has to nominate a distinguished member,
distinguished officer (2) and the Paragon Award which is for the
Advisors.
2. Blood Drive Recap
• Joan went in the am and we had 104 people signed up. Dr.
Kennedy wrote to the coordinator to know how much people
actually donated but no answer yet. We discussed where we can
have the blood drive Elizabeth. Dan will have a meeting with Prof.
Gabba on October 31st at noon. We will need somebody to store
the materials for the blood drive and a nice location to put our
propaganda about it on.
3. Book Sale: Oct 3rd through 8th.
• Jerod still needs to see the sign-up sheet. A lot of people sign up
through the week but we need more people for closing. It’s
Brians responsibility is to start the table with change, and at the
end of the day make a deposit. Or hang on to it until the end of
the week. Sunday set up: 7:30 SHARP!!!! Or whenever you can
show up because we do need the help!!!
4. Bulleting Boards
• Amanda will put book sale signs up to put a disability disclaimer.
• Joan said that SGA is sending a bulletin board to Plainfield.
Daniel will have a meeting with gabba about a bulletin board in
the Elizabeth campus.
5. Meeting Room
• Dr Schmitt emailed the proper person to reserve the
alumni conference room for next semester (in case we
can’t keep the Admiral Stanley Room).
6. Open House: Nov. 5th
 • Somebody to explain what PTK is about during a presentation
explaining. We will participate. However we need to know what is
the exact time slot that we can attend.
7. NJ Honors Conference: Oct. 16th

• Also the day of the Luncheon. We were talking about four people
going to the honors conference and the rest would stay for the
luncheon. Gloria brough up the snacks for the luncheon. Maria,
Gloria and Brian will look into it. Also, it would be preferable if the
people who didn’t went to ohi to attend the Honors Conference.
RSVP should be by oct 5th. Maria will be sending emails to see
who can be the four that will be attending.

8. Founders Day

• MOTION FOR NEXT MEETING.

9. Halloween Bake Sale: Oct 27th to 29th

• Lucio suggested that we have our bake sale in the

Elizabeth and the Painfield campus on either a Saturday
or Friday. Diana will send an email to Phi Theta Kappans
to see how we can do the man power.

9.1. Gameroom:

• Dr McNemnin wants to know is we can paint a room that

will be a game room during the winter break. Maria
mentioned and brian seconf. We had it passé dwith seven
votes.

• Honors in action:

• Vristy made amotion for the 13th is the day for the
envailing of the mural. We have 11 committees to help
with the
