Una po sa lahat, ipinaaabot ko ang mainit na pagbati sa lahat ng ating mga kasamahan sa
Bureau of Fire Protection, sa inyong determinasyon at kakayahan na ipinakita mula sa proseso sa
promotion na inyong pinagdaanan at hanggang dumating ang pagkakataong ito na kayo ay opisyal na
hirangan bilang mga bagong opisyal ng BFP. Sa inyong pamilya, mga kaanak at kaibigan na andito
ngayon at nagpapaabot ng lubos na kagalakan sa tagumpay na inyong natamo. Congratulations po.

This event is significant not just because you will be officially take an oath as commissioned
officers and have the ceremonial process of taking yourselves out from the cloth of being a typical Non-
uniformed personnel to the image of being an officer, thus most importantly this is the very moment
where you will formally accept the life changing period in your life, the period of accepting the fact that
as BFP officer you will live and dedicate your life as officer with character, a law abiding officer,
competent, and with a humble heart in serving others not just when you are in the vicinity of the office
but most especially when you are in your civilian clothes and nobody is watching. The challenge is
always in you notwithstanding the fact that there are many applicants who are similarly qualified yet
you have been chosen for the position. Remember, that this is just a beginning of your journey, of your
story as BFP officer and I wish that the story of yours will bring goodness and constant optimism in the
BFP service.
