– Biological Exo-Suit Technology


When the Templar Guardians of the Antarctic outpost reached out to some of humanity’s world
leaders, they were desperate. They knew that the Illuminati were coming and that on their own, the
Templars would not be able to stop them on their own. Part of the plan developed between the Templar
and the various world leaders was agreed upon exchange and merger of technology and information.
The first line of defense to be developed was the Aurora Suits.
Formed by the combination of cyber technology and the growth of a specially designed bio-
organism, the Aurora suits were created. The primary weapon of the Aurora suit is the genetically
engineered organism enhanced to generate what, in layman terms most would call “super abilities”. The
organism can be programmed to generate a specific abilities and when needed, reprogrammed to form
a different set of abilities as needed.
Combined with the organism is a suit of advanced cyber armor. The armors main function is to
protect the organism and the human operator. For this task, the armor brings with it a variety of
modular sensors, defensive measures, and combat weaponry. All of which can be swapped out at the
Antarctic base or onboard a Kraken transport vessel. As the operator’s knowledge of the Aurora suits
operation and controls grow, the abilities of the armor and organism can also grow.
Part of the process to ensure that the suit and the operator work as one includes the genetic and
neurological bonding of the organism and the operator. This promotes quicker reaction times, thorough
understanding of all of the components and genetic compatibility. Another perk of this bonding process
is that only the bonded pilot can operate a given suit. While only one pilot can be assigned to a given
suit, that same pilot can be assigned to multiple suits. In game terms, the pilot can be bonded to one
Aurora suit per advance. To date, an Aurora suit must have a pilot inside of it in order to function.
Super Ability Power Points: As the organism bonds with the armored suit, some of its “life force” is
expended however, this expenditure of energy is not done in vain, as this merging process activates and
enhances some of the suit basic functions. All Aurora suits start with the same amount of power points.
This amount is shown in the table below.
Armor Mod Points: Similar to the power points, due to the integration of the organism with the
armor, some of the space normally used for Armor Mod points is used up. The benefit gained by this is
the acquisition of super abilities. The starting armor mod points is listed on the table below.
