devices with embedded intelligence is
"DIGITAL JEWELLERY”.
❖ The whole concept behind this is to be
able to communicate to others by
means of wireless appliances.
WHAT IS DIGITAL JEWELLERY
❖ Digital jewelry is the fashion jewelry with
embedded intelligence.
❖ Digital jewelry can help you solve
problems like forgotten passwords.
❖ These devices have a tiny processor
and unique identifiers that interact with
local sensors.
❖ It is nothing but dividing a
communication device into parts and
embedding them into jewellery.

phone.
❖ Consists of several pieces of digital
jewelry.
❖ Works using Bluetooth wireless
technology.
❖ Prototype of cellphone consists of
EARRINGS,NECKLACE,BRACELET.
EAR RINGS
Speakers embedded into these
earrings will be the phone's receiver.
NECKLACE
Users will talk into the necklace‘s
embedded microphone.
They transfer the information in the
forms of signals.
BRACELET
Equipped with a video graphics array
display, this wrist display could also be
used as a caller identifier that flashes the
name and phone number of the caller.
JAVA RING

Java ring is used for


protecting purpose.
It will automatically
unlock the doors and
log onto the systems.

Digital Jewellery can be
made with different sizes
and shapes with variety of
materials like plastic &
metal to rubber & glass.
It may be in LED
7-segment, 16-segment,
dot matrix,LEDs to LCDs,
and other displays.
ADVANTAGES
Wireless wearable technology.
Easy to carry every where.
It provides security.
Natural interaction between the
user.
DISADVANTAGES
Display is very small.
Very expensive to afford.
CONCLUSION
The basic idea behind the digital
jewelry concept is to have the
convenience of wireless,
wearable computers while
remaining fashionably sound.
It is hoped to be marketable
soon.
