Introduction:
I’m going to introduce my job which is about the essay that treats
many topics related to teaching and learning. As future teachers we
have to know the concepts that involve the learning and teaching
process. First we`ll see the concept of pedagogy and didactic and
it`s difference then some of the characteristics of language teaching
and learning in the same way the main competences or basic
language skills and finally the art of teaching.

Development:

1) Concepts of pedagogy and didactics: what is the

difference?
Pedagogy is the function or work of a teacher; teaching.
Pedagogy informs teacher actions, judgments, and teaching
strategies by taking into consideration theories of learning,
understandings of students and their needs, and the backgrounds
and interests of individual students. The teaching of adults, as a
specific group, is referred to as andragogy. Didactic method is a
specific tactic of educational process. Didactic method is one of
the basic components of education because it organizes
educational process. It features following modalities of work:
• Making students an active element of educational process by
motivating them to participate to curricular and extracurricular
activities.
• Find solution to cognition tasks and problems creating an
alliance professor-student.
• Develop logical and factual thinking at same rate.
• Determination of professor as moderator and observer during
educational process.
For me the real difference is that pedagogy is intended to refer
specifically to teaching children in change didactics focuses on
the how. It’s more mechanic, often easier to research. As nouns
the difference between didactics and pedagogy is that didactics is
didactic while pedagogy is the profession of teaching.

3) The main competences or basic language skills.

Reading, writing, speaking and listening are the four
foundational skills of language learning.
What is listening?
Listening is the first language skill we acquire in our native
language. It is what is known as a receptive skill, or a passive skill,
as it requires us to use our ears and our brains to comprehend
language as it is being spoken to us. It is the first of two natural
language skills, which are required by all natural spoken languages.
What is speaking?
Speaking is the second language skill we acquire in our native
language. It is what is known as a productive skill, or an active skill,
as it requires us to use our vocal tract and our brains to correctly
produce language through sound. It is the second of two natural
language skills.
What is Reading?
Reading is the third language skill we may acquire in our native
language. As with listening, it is a receptive or passive skill, as it
requires us to use our eyes and our brains to comprehend the
written equivalent of spoken language. It is one of the two artificial
language skills, as not all natural spoken languages have a writing
system.
What is writing?
Writing is the fourth language skill we may acquire in our native
language. As with speaking, it is a productive or active skill, as it
requires us to use our hands and our brains to produce the written
symbols that represent our spoken language. Along with reading, it
is one of the two artificial language skills, as not all natural spoken
languages have a writing system.

4) The art of teaching.

Education, in all of its traditional and emerging forms, maintains a
rich and complex spirit. In a continually changing landscape,
teachers endure by adapting, improving, and overcoming
challenges, all in an effort to encourage and inspire future
generations. It is this blend the art of teaching coupled with the
science of learning that we seek to encourage, foster, and celebrate.

 The Importance of Building Community in the Classroom.
A community is a setting made up of individuals who come together
for a common purpose. Members should feel welcome; that they
have a connection to others, and that they are valued. Schools and
classrooms are where children spend a significant amount of time
each week, and teachers have an opportunity to help their students
make the most of that time together by developing a classroom
community each day.
The benefits students realize from being a member of their
classroom community are plentiful, and include increased trust to
take academic risks, decreased behavior issues, and a feeling of
ownership of their environment and learning.
