INTEGRATION:

21st Century Skills: Communication

It is important that students must acquire not only

knowledge of the language but also appropriate
use of that language within a given culture.
Whenever students communicate, they are
performing a speech act which corresponds to the
attitude being expressed. However,
communication will be ineffective if the audience
cannot identify the speaker’s intention and attitude
being expressed. Therefore, as speakers, our
intention in speaking shall be clearly shown in the
act itself.
