SHARE The Teacher Quadrant
The year level coordinator introduced the topics to be discussed
within the session. The participants were oriented of what activities to do
and the expected outputs of each topic.
The Teacher’s Quadrant were also introduced wherein teachers
were asked to self-assess which quadrant they belong according to the
specified characteristics of each quadrant. These quadrants are; (1) The
Teacher Analyst, (2) The Professional Teacher, (3) The Teacher Drop-out,
and (4) The Unfocused Teacher.
DISCUSS The following topics were discussed by the respective resource speaker:

SESSION 1: The Making of e-SIM and its Relevance


with Mr. Jason M. Quinapondan

Significant details discussed:


 Electronic - Strategic Intervention Material (e-SIM) imparts
information to the students in the educational process meant to
reteach concepts or topics which are considered least mastered by
the students
 e-SIM stimulates the interest of the learners and increase their level
of understanding with manual intervention or guidance by a teacher
 One of the purpose of eSIM is to remediate students with poor
academic achievemebt provided that there is a regular classroom
instruction where students were unable to grasp the concepts

SESSION 2: Powerpoint Utilization for Interactive Activities


with Ms. Irene Mitch Jimenez

 Different applications and software that could be used in making
electronic-strategic instructional materials (eSIMs)
 A sample of a completed eSIM was explored

SESSION 3: Comprehensive Analysis of Quarterly Assessment Result

 Analysis of the different subject areas (from outstanding to Fairly
Statisfactory)
 Different subject areas were analyzed based on its rating

SESSION 4: Psychological Effects to the Performance of Learners


with Mrs. Mayeth A. Batuigas

Significant details discussed:


 Mental Well-being is s more than the absence of mental illness and it
is more than feeling happy. It is the ability to cope with the day-to-
day stresses of life, work productively, interact positively with others
and realize our own potential
 The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in anxiety,
depression, more pessimistic attitude and other mental health issues
worldwide
 Teachers matter more to student achievement than any other aspect
of schooling. Many factors contribute to a student's academic
performance, including individual characteristics and family and
neighborhood experiences. But research suggests that, among
school-related factors, teachers matter most

All the participants actively engaged in the discussion of the topics, and
some shared their personal experiences where every teacher could relate
to.
ACTIVITY/ACTION Group Activity:

 Participants were grouped according to subject areas (English and


Filipino, Math and Science, AP and ESP, and TLE and MAPEH).
 Each group were asked to craft a contextualized electronic-Strategic
Instructional Materials based on Quarter 2 least mastered
competency.
 A representative by group was asked to present the constructed
electronic-Strategic Instructional Materials (e-SIMs) per subject area.
PLAN During the 2-hour workshop, the following were suggested:
a. Collaborate with co-teachers to create a well-designed and
informative eSIMs suited to address each students’ needs;
b. To ensure students’ mental well-being, teachers are
encouraged to create a welcoming environment, focus on
building strong relationship with students, give praise when
necessary, and encourage self-reflection .
c. Incorporate contextualization and localization of the learning
contents to make the eSIMs more relevant to the learners.
